...going shooting ...
Give Ted Nugent a buzz. You two would make great buddies... You should probably leave your safe and cuddly echo chamber from time to time. You realize about 1/3 of all Americans are gun owners, right? Salty? Nope. Just pointing out the ridiculous folly of assuming each and every person that might enjoy shooting would share friendship with Ted Nugent. You my friend are being presumptuous with your warm and cuddly echo chamber nonsense. Which is more of a ridiculous assumption than my one that infers two folks with like interests would make great buddies. And just where did I state each and every person that shoots guns might be into Cat Scratch Fever? (I can make leaps too)

Cloud mining contracts are a security https://bitsonline.com/genesis-mining-securities/Hah. Is the author having a seizure? I couldn’t get past the second paragraph. Was Occupy Wall Street a left wing thing? The movement wasn’t supported by Libertarians? that's exactly the difference isn't it?... the Libtard looters went to "occupy" Wall St. because they wanted a cut of the looting action ... Libertarians created and built crypto to make Wall St. obsolete. I am pondering why as a frothing snake left wing reactionary I seem to be in the minority here. Surely my communist brothers hate big banks as much as I do. So why aren’t they here to sing Solidarity Forever?

Well IANAL, but the fact that a contract is a scam doesn't mean it can't be a security. Or does it?

OWS had a good number of leftist/socialist dweebs in it. Not sure if there were right wingers as well. But most of the people that I've heard talk were a bunch of morons who blamed capitalism for everything without even understanding the most basic basics of Economics and voluntary exchange.

Going up at the moment.
But I would not celebrate yet.
We had this a couple of times where it went until 11k, 11,5k and bounced back to sub 9k.
I will celebrate if we crack the almighte 12k ;-)

Well I haven't followed this one either, so I was just assuming. All the cloud mining contracts I've checked out are losing deals, in the sense that you get less than you would by just buying bitcoin. And then the contract expires (while bitcoin doesn't). Maybe naming this particular contract a scam was a bit far fetched, but I wouldn't sign into it.

Chart seemed to catch the movements pretty well, all the main thrusts were pretty close to fitting. It doesn't seem like anything has changed structurally, it's still in a glade until it looks down, and time is running out. Future options from here:
- Massive volume run up past 11, this would allow a chance at a new dead cat high and buy another 2-4 weeks
- Sideways for a few days or weeks and then crash again

Well IANAL, but the fact that a contract is a scam doesn't mean it can't be a security. Or does it? The easy way for them to get out of this is for them to describe the contracts as leases, which are by definition not securities, but they didn't, so idiots.

A few months ago someone asked me how even BTC storage solutions like a cold wallet can be secure when anyone can theoretically guess the private key of any wallet. Today I discovered this beautiful illustration If anyone of you is trying to guess a specific Bitcoin private key, I guess you can safely stop this endeavour now.

Ok but you cant brute force powerball numbers with a computer at 1ghs or discover math formulas to reverse engineer it.

You can brute force Powerball with a pen and paper. That’s what the population is doing every week.

But there is a high cost for each guess.
