I have a feeling it'd probably be a really lame meetup TBH. I'm not a very social person and generally hate most everyone IRL. Yeah, me too. Except some people I really don't mind at all. I know you know about r/K, so tell me how this sounds to you. People either think in an r way or a K way, to varying degrees. When a hard r and a hard K meet, they instinctively recognize one another for what they are, and instantly hate eachother. As most of us here are K's, at least to some degree, and most of the general population is r's, it's not at all surprising that we tend to be non-social and have a general dislike of people. Which is why it was a surprise to me when I started doing in-person trades that most of the people seemed pretty alright. A few of them even gave me cash hours or even a few days before I was able to get BTC to them. We know our own kind, and trust is one of the features of the K psychology. If the above is more or less right, then a meeting of oldtimers should be workable. Thoughts?

WO Public Service Announcement:
Everyone please check nearby bridges, tall buildings, towers, and any other large structure for Blind Mayor Bitcorn/Rosewater. You will be able to spot him by the large stack of pants he'll be carrying. If you see him, tell him it's okay to come down now.

didn't read the whole thing but depents on witch kind of booze .... there are some pricey bottles of booze on the market I'm a Red Wine (California Napa Valley Cabernet) aficionado myself, so I know all about pricey bottles of booze. I'm thinking about maximizing for most fun. It goes without saying I'd probably buy at least 1 bottle of ~$1,000 USD Scotch, as that can likely be spread around nicely, but getting into "expensive spirits" would probably be wasteful. I'm not saying buy cheap shit either, but trying to establish a "middle ground". Seriously - I'll throw 0.5 BTC for libations towards the $100k party. 0.5 BTC == 0.5 BTC after-all, right ? I'm playing with that much for my Lightning nodes, so it seems fair to "blow the other 0.5 on crazy party shit" - to my mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXt56MB-3vc BTCBTC upping >> wee

I don't think the mayor is coming down off the bridge over a little $500 pop this time.
Don't really blame him, those 1hr mammoths still have me spooked.

Cant put my finger on it but this one feels different from the other green candles we have seen on the way down. Maybe something about the strong bounce off of the 7500 support...

Gotta say I find this somewhat surprising. Tickle my taint with your tongue. Out of the regular posters in this thread, I think I hate you the most. Or maybe r0ach. I dunno. Could be a tie. Aww. You made me sad.

One Bcash wallet owned by Bitmain with a staggering 440,000 Bcash in it, that bag gets bigger everyday because nobody is buying that shitcoin. It'd probably be a lot bigger if the largest Bitcoin holders (like the WinkleVii for example) would dump all their remaining BCash, but I imagine that some of them just can't be bothered to jump through the hoops.

Things looking a bit brighter today and really refreshing to see people already talking about the future $100K party. *THAT* would be *EPIC*.

Good morning all. We seemed to have turned a corner and are now fighting to get back above a support line. I think chances are good we breach this level and march towards 9k as the weekend draws closer. #dyor

How do we know that Winklvii and some of the other BIG ones have not dumped their Bcash? Well I guess we don't know that, it would take some sleuthing to know for sure. The WinkleVii claim to have not sold anything and have all their Bitcoin locked up. But then with a BCash major dump the question is who would buy it? The BCash float is so tiny and thin right now that it couldn't take a major market dump. Not on the scale of what the Bitcoin market can absorb.

-tera bera Duration: Glade - 6 weeks Glide - 6 months Beginning: Glade - 3 year record breaking volume after 70% decline Glide - ? Another volume bounce indicator somewhere around 5.5k ? End Glade - Attempts to bust past a 100% increase or reach any level that will credibly start a new bull run fizzle out (failing at 11.8 twice, then at 10 on the way down sealed it as over) Glide - ? Same as above, trying to get past 10k fails ?
