One day we will all be gone. You will remain and become the speaker of the dead.

The little ones will gather at your feet as you recall the great battles that were once fought here.

And there's nothing exactly impressive about being a veteran here. You just have to sit on your ever expanding arse posting nob gags for long enough.

Most of you are legends, ...
Legendary status correlates to making many posts, so legends are more visible which skews your observation :-)
But not everyone has time to make that many posts and this place treats new and old readers equally for the most part. Even if you post really dumb shit you will need to be very persistent before getting put on ignore. Have fun!

Decided as of Monday I'll be bearish  Grin

New target: $5,600, until proven otherwise. Fits with the bear channel we're in that everyone else has already identified.
Going to put my short-term bear cap back on folks.

Enjoy it now, guy  Wink  it took me more than 15 minutes to remember the site he was using and a little more time to remember where to install it. I'm worried about my damn memory, I seem amnesiac  Roll Eyes

I can help.
Two quick tests:

Test 1:

1. Let a person/friend (A) write down ten random words, one per line, two syllables per word.
2. Let A read them out to you, with a pause of a second between each word.
3. Repeat all words you remember, let A mark them in a separate column.
4. A repeats step 2, but begins with the words you remembered (marked in step 3).
5. Repeat step 3.
6. Repeat step 4.
7. Repeat step 3.

So it's three times reading and marking in separate columns.
Which column has the highest number of marks? How many in the last column?

Test 2:
Let somebody (A) choose a number between 101 and 110. Then let A substract 3 about 20 times and write down the results (you don't see them) in a column, one number per line.
Like:
105
102
 99
 96
 93
 90
 87
 ...

... and so on.
Now you start from the chosen number and substract three, also up to twenty times.
Note down:
How hard did you do with that? (subjectively)
How long did it take?
Did you become faster/better or slower/worse?
How many errors you were aware of? (corrected after your first call)
How many errors you were not aware of?

The results of the two tests will give you an overview of your working memory performance.
Working memory handles the exchange of data between long- and short-time memory, as well as acting as a buffer for memory operations like calculating and processing visual or auditive "input" (observing, listening).

When your mind is just not trained well, play memory (the game) and/or write down some telephone calls you just had, as stories.

Repeat the two tests after a week. Test again using the two procedures i described above.
If you get better every week (3-5 weeks), fine. Good news, your mind is just not challenged enough. You also learned to self-help.
If you don't get better results over time, you need professional help. Your memory impairments should be tested in detail, for further action through a good doc or therapist.

I suffer from memory problems, some of them like you described, and i have undergone many different tests and i learned how to interpret the results over time.

The Kool-Aid drinking 2013 'noob' I once was, still lingers...

I still make too many Kool-Aid drinking "this will all work out" noob missteps.

The 'addiction' to 'optimism' never seems to fade on crypto/projects/mining/hope'm, etc.

"I may not be as much of a noob as I once was, but once in a while, I am as big a noob as I ever was!"

fuck

I loved Rush when I was a teenager (in spite of Neil's dubious lyrics for Geddy) - actually went to see them live once Moving Pictures tour - Neil had the biggest gong ever in a kit that had so many pieces it was ridiculous.  Bless 'em.  Permanent Waves, 2012...

RIP, or maybe rest in a perfectly tuned snare drum...

The high correlation of Bitcoin and Gold makes many optimistic ..

Quote
Kang admits here that it’s possible that the rise and fall in response to the conflict was probably triggered by speculators. However, regardless of that possibility, Kang says that people have a stronger “belief in BTC as a hedge to global uncertainty, leading to more people trading BTC on macro events.”

It may prove to be an advantage to have at least a correlation with gold and that Bitcoin has a low correlation with other Stock Market actions ...

Bitcoin is not gold - it's totally different.  More portable, more covenient... I could go on...

To be put in a box and degraded to a simple digital version of an old-fashioned asset is degarding.

Bitcoin FTW. End of.

New paradign, world resesrve currency - or bust.

Mmmhhh, what has changed your mood about it? That channel was already there. The only news of the past few days is that after the pump to 8.4K it retraced to retest 7.8K as expected and bounced back nicely. Next step could be some sideways and maybe then breaking upwards outside the channel.

I mean, it could also go back down as you say, but TA (if that's what you prefer) hasn't changed and price dynamics have been very positive lately.

$5.6K looks bearish AF at this time but hey, everything is possible.
