I don't think so, for me this thread is like being at home, I will simply walk outside to keep my 2 favorite threads updated (Bitcoin Prehistory/List Exchanges Hacked) and collaborate in my local section, to return home quickly. Cheesy

I've always liked this thread since I first set foot in it, about 13 months ago. It does have a bit of a cozy feel to it. Though sometimes I (and perhaps a few others) bark like the house bulldog when a visitor pisses me (us) off.

Whats funny is I tried to get Flying Hellfish to post more in here as I thought he would fit in quite nicely, but he told me that this thread scares him. I asked him "why", and he said its because technical analysis scares him. So, its not for everybody, I suppose.

How can you be scared of a stupid thing like that?
Oh I;m scared of homeopathy, oh and flat-earthers, astrololligists etc.
Probably some kind of liberal. Well we got too many of them. Tell him fuck off, stop dreaming like a little girl and grow some fiscal responsibility.

Decided as of Monday I'll be bearish  Grin

New target: $5,600, until proven otherwise. Fits with the bear channel we're in that everyone else has already identified.
Going to put my short-term bear cap back on folks.
5.6k will very likely be achieved in 2020 so why not... but it won't happen before second half of the year. There should still be a bounce back to 9k area.
Been waiting for 9k, possibly 9.5k to cash out but I am starting to lose patience. February is my target but wouldn't mind observing 9k next week!

I still think the halvening will have an effect but a late effect, hence the bearish trend for the whole year 2020, then recovery starting in 2021 but not enough recovery to see 19k yet (hence the infamous bet...).

Most of you are legends, ...
Legendary status correlates to making many posts [...]

Nowadays, yes. While collecting merits. But there are members that got legendary for mostly just being around a lot, pre-merit era. Although I believe the merits are serving their purpose for more quality posts, the most wordy are not almost contributing the most.

Believe lurking should be rewarded as well. Would like to be able to hand out more merits to quality posts, while not being an active poster myself.

I think its not a bad idea with asking for merit source status and telling the lurking part etc....

Read a few applications and the rule of what you need to provide....

Then send in the thread after you finished it, then just wait it could take some weeks or months (especially now cause new sources have been added and merit supplies been increased etc)
But better the make it now and be pending for the time, many will talk in the thread and bump it up in META so when there would be added some more then you have a bigger chance imo

Most of you are legends, I don't know if I fit very well here, I feel a little weird among so many veterans, being such a rookie disappoints a little.   Roll Eyes
Will I ever get over this feeling?

https://edition.cnn.com/middleeast/live-news/iran-plane-crash-investigation/index.html

They just go ahead and spin a conspiracy theory to justify future attacks and sanctions on iran now?
Same shit, different nation.
#smellslikeweaponsofmassdesctructioninirak

Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

EDIT:
Abedzadeh went on to ask, “How can a plane be hit by rocket or missile” and then the pilot “try to turn back to the airport?”

If the world is buying the US conspiracy on this, we're the dumbest dna-clusters on earth and thus really deserve to fuck up and self-eradicate our species from this planet.
i wasn't so angry as after reading this in a fair while (i mean years).

Airplane engine destroyed by a missle is still a mechanical failure. In the videoclip you see the engine already on fire we all want to see the moment before it.

Iran refuses releasing the black box to Boeing wich is actually an obligation.

This detail is vapor, steem. Media driven hysteria.
No state returns blackboxes to the manufacturer. So why should Iran?

EDIT: Usually the manufacturer of the flight recorder is invited for the investigations, led by the state where the accident was happening.
So many informations on this, almost nothing confirmed or official. Only "may", "could", "might"... As usual

So, It's only  ""may", "could", "might"... As usual" and yet you draw the conclusion that it's a conspiracy.
How about stop acting like a hysterical woman and start acting on facts like a man.

Iran has now confirmed that they shot down the plane by accident, is it still a conspiracy?

Armed Forces’ internal investigation has concluded that regrettably missiles fired due to human error caused the horrific crash of the Ukrainian plane & death of 176 innocent people.
Investigations continue to identify & prosecute this great tragedy & unforgivable mistake. #PS752"

You are not mate - soooooo annoying and its so crazy really - with all that "ethics" talk, reputation bla bla in this forum (that I LOVE), I just dont get why anyone is promoting that shit - there are even established members doing that... That cryptotalk forum is bad but okay... have a look at yobit though, the website alone... is a joke and looks like it can be coded by any hobby programmer in a matter of hours, lol.

Probably a nice honest way to earn $10 a week Wink

Judging by the quality of posting by most of those posters I guess the pay probably is really, really low.

I agree, I think that now and then there should be a airdrop of sendable merits that doesnt affect the merit count of the one getting the airdrop, just those who receive the Smerits.
Unfortunately I'm out of merits or I would have sent you some.

It's actually pretty high, for Legendaries anyway. I forget what it is but its more than I'm getting at the moment.

You'll have to ask Searing next time he stops by.

Most of the posters are indeed shit, but there are a few decent ones. Even though I doubly question their credibility immediately upon seeing that signature.

I think its 20k sats per post for Legendaries - if I remember correctly. Even pay for little Seniors like me is quite high compared with most campaigns.

Therein lies the ethical dilemma. Its also why hundreds of dormant accounts suddenly woke up and began shitposting like mad. I personally never had a problem with YoBit, but that's just me. I tend to hang out in the places where people don't shitpost, but delving into Bitcoin Discussion is sometimes like wading through a sewer.

Way back there were 2-3 now ledges chatting quite openly about controlling dozens of hero accounts, either for good campaigns or for selling to account-traders when prices were good.
