I met Muslims who where all about respect to life, in contrast. That's also why they left their motherland, to start living a more free, integer life in western countries. They don't even want to be integrated as much in the western Muslim community, they like to live on modern principles instead, allowing their wifes and daughters ditch the headscarfs...
You just can't really lump together gay people or Muslims or almost any members of any group.

I will get to your point, please allow me to state some essential facts first:
Islam is an ideology that follows the commands of a god who demands to subjugate non-believers, and if they resist, to kill them.
(Read the Koran and the Sunnah, if you don't believe me.)
The Koran, the word of their god, instructs its readers to kill people. And the killing is performed by its followers every single day.
Now all you say to me criticizing that ideology is that there are followers that are not so strict? That's not an argument.
Obviously, there were Nazis that weren't very strict in their conviction either, but should we therefore just ignore their deathly ideology?
You fought the classic straw-man insinuating that I claim all Muslims are the same. I never said such a thing.
What I claim is that they are fanboys of the same fascist ideology.
And btw... most of the Muslims who want to leave Islam can't, because they would get expelled from their families and Muslim friends (the Sharia demands to even kill apostates).
I have friends and family who suffer under these conditions but they cannot speak out, because of the repercussions they'd face.
