3. Impact on China🇨🇳

China & Hong Kong have very close ties. Hong Kong's move to permit retail crypto trading might signal similar future laws in mainland China

I do not understand this move. Hong Kong is no longer independent. It is just an island off China. China was so against it, against crypto. And now it is being allowed? I do not get it.

-----

But anyway. Have some of this BTC Stuff.

@HuobiGlobal
: $BTC, $ETH and "other major cryptocurrencies"

@gate_io
: $BTC, $ETH, $LTC, $BCH, $DOT, $MATIC, $SOL & $UNI

@okx
: $BTC, $ETH, $MATIC, $SOL, $DOT, $UNI, $LINK, $LTC, $AVAX, $ATOM, $XLM

Should be good, right?
 Grin

Nothing with China and the way the rest of the world deals with them makes sense.

IE. What the fuck was all that cancelling people who said Covid came from a lab about?

The same people who did that are now saying China is terrible because it controls Taiwan, yet the USA still also supports the 1 China policy.

 Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

In the end people only want you to say something if it supports their best interests and their agenda I guess. Regardless whether it's fiction or fact.
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

My first cousin lost a kid to a tv set in the 90’s.

I always felt the move to tube conforming designs made them easier to pull over.

Yeah the 5 year old dropped it on the 9 month old while the mother was washing dishes. Very sad story.

That is one of the most awful stories I've ever heard.  I couldn't imagine the pain the Mother must be dealing with still and even the child who was probably too young to remember must have guilt about killing their sibling.  Stories like this I'd rather believe aren't true, but at least with the flimsy thing televisions being sold today this isn't a big concern for new Mothers.

A little more on topic...  We appear to still be stuck in the consolidation range.  A breakout either way would likely signal a larger move in that direction.  Feels like the risk is to the downside at the moment, but only in the term of a few months.

Wow, that's rough.

I am sure that my cousin and his wife will never fully get over it.

I think it was 1996 or 1997 when it happened. I had an oldsmobile delta 88 with a 351 cu in 8 cylinder engine.

I dropped my wife at bus stop so she could go to work in manhattan and drove from howell nj to harrisburg pa . 180 mile trip did the church. went to the wake service. had the grief meal drove back 180 mile to howell. Amazing as it sounds as My wife’s pulled into the park and ride at the exact time I arrived.

So I drove 180+180= 360 miles. did a wake a chruch ceremony and a grief meal. Along with driving my wife to and from the park and ride.

Quite an odd long sad day.

Back on point.

https://decrypt.co/142711/us-debt-ceiling-deal-blocks-30-bitcoin-mining-tax-congressman

so if this passes and it should do so by Friday night

the 30% mining power tax increase will not happen in US.

So far Biden and McCarty did the agreement.
Budget committee passed it 7-6
House passed it 314 to 117 or so

Next up the senate
then the prez

should end this ceiling fud til 2025

GTA LOVERS: Who is eagerly awaiting the launch of GTA - VI?

Haha, that's funny but it's possible you what I meant (Current Cash Reputation  Grin Grin Grin).

Anyway, bring something interesting, Like Bitcoin games ahh not gambling ones like real action and open world games with Bitcoin rewards, Then I will think to bring back my gaming spirit until I'm sleepy.

This is practical but still, I had never heard of it, Rather than those stupid Play to earn games they should make the games really rewarding besides offering those shitcoins.

From here I have questions. Most of the time economy used in games is called UC and it's total waste why can't they replace it with Satoshi?

Well my dream was to be gammer but you life it divert your interests still somewhere a small gammer is alive haha

When a country's government thinks positively about Bitcoin, it is a good news for Bitcoiners. Recently the prime minister of Ireland met with Gemini founders to discuss the potential of bitcoin and crypto which will give positive ‍sing about bitcoin. It seems very likely that they will focus on Bitcoin and crypto adoption. Soon we will get positive outcome of their discussion.

I would imagine that at some point, the more "successful" games are going to gravitate towards at least having ways to liquidate in and out of BTC - even though a lot of us (bitcoiners) already recognize that shitcoiners (whether in gaming or otherwise) remain so much tempted to close their systems in such ways that they are able to print their own money.. so in some sense there are likely some games that are more shitcoiners than others and some games that are more open than others in terms of ways that getting in and out might be possible.. and furthermore along these same lines, it seems that some games may well already allow for easier ways to get in and out of the various shitcoins by interacting with bitcoin and even though various circumventions might need to take place along the way in order to get from whatever shitcoin might be used (or gained) and somehow getting dee gainz, if any, into bitcoin.

By the way... I do have tendencies to have a bit of an addictive personality, so on a personal level I try to avoid getting too personally involved in playing very many games, because it seems to me that I will get easily sucked in, if I try them out - so many times, I tend to find out about some of the aspects of games through various podcasts about various ways that some of the shitcoins in games might be more open or less of closed systems (if there might be ways to get into bitcoin from the shitcoins) or even that some bitcoiners are trying to work on (and develop and promote) bitcoin-related games (games that either have bitcoin earning in the game or allow for liquidity into bitcoin).

It's not a bad topic, and might even be a kind of way to use dee cornz in a game and maybe there might not be any KYC requirements.. and then to get coinz back out (if you don't end up getting rug-pulled along the way.. which sometimes could have to do with how coins are stored and dangers of keeping too many coins with third parties, if you know of various ways to self-custody your coins.. or move them around easily so that you do not become too lazy in terms of keeping too many coins with third-party systems), if you know what I am trying to say.   Wink Wink
