There's really a high difference in fiat value if you compare today and in the past, that's why I don't think it's worth it to pay that much just for the reason of having a VIP status plus ability to add a custom title under the username. Well, that's only my opinion.

You can donate any amount you want if that's the intention. You just won't get the status of VIP or Donator.

1 post = 1 activity
14 activity max every 1 period (=2 weeks)

Besides that you need to actively contribute on the forum to receive merit from the moderator. good luck!

You don't have to receive merit from Moderators. Anyone with smerit can give merit. Just need good posts and you will receive them.

More than that, you need to write forum build articles, and support members with questions to address. If you have good posts and good support you will receive merit from everyone.

Whats the issue?

Rank requirements has been changed since January of this year. Now you need to earn merits along side the Activity requirements to rank to next level.

For example to proceed to Member rank now you need Activity 60 + Merit 10

You might ask how to earn merits? Well it will be award to you by members based on the quality of your posts.

Just heads up Bounties participation not gonna help you in earning any merits

I have over 60 activity, but I only have one gold coin under my name instead of two, so I'm assuming that's why I'm not listed as a "member."  Do I not have 2 coins because I don't have 10 merit?  If so, how do I get merit?  Thank you.

If you make a post that someone thinks deserves Merit they'll give it to you. Have a search of this board and you'll find hundreds of post discussing that and you'll find many different opinions on how to get Merit. I would say forget about Merit and just use the forum to learn about and discuss Bitcoin and Merit will come to you.

Atleast jr. member to show the images when you post. Your account is 1 activity away to rank up.
On the other hand, if you want or need it suddenly, there's an option to upgrade your account into a copper member by paying a small fee. See full details > Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images
