all i understand is they can give me merit points if i do good posts right  ...so i can give merit to others member too let just say i wont to give you a Merit point how can i do this  ?

If you want to give some one Merit points then you must click on his post Merit+ then give as you want to give him its very simple

also a newbie can do a paid membership to get alot of the restrictions taken off. More "member like" treatment faster...

Just search Paid Membership... or go to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote ... It will generate a unique payto btc address.

In addition to the activity points, merit points (click for more information) are required to advance your ranking.

You want to have a member rank? Then try to post constructively to earn from other users at least 10 merit.

When I joined the Forum some months ago, it was really difficult for me to work here. I was so scared not to get a negative trust, or get banned.

The first warning PM I got, freaked me out, I almost did not want to make a post anymore, but I figured I needed to , so me to grow. So I kept searching for links, posts, not just in the Forum, Google also, some landed me in the right post, that even got me a merit.

This is a suggestion: Is there any way, a link to the Do's and Don'ts plus rules can be the first thing a Newbie see upon registration so that, they can read and digest it before launching into the Forum?

once i received merit and my rank is upgraded if i send full/partial smerit to other will my rank downgrade are there any conditions on that
