Considering the spike in the amount of members and the content, shouldn't there be new categories introduced and more donation options to suit a wider range of people?
Why? It undermines the value of the donations from everyone prior to the proposed change.

Introduction of ICO founders and Campaign managers could help them in identifying more easily and would definitely help in getting a more donations to the forum.
Let us remember that this forum should not rely on signature campaigns or ICOs. Especially not the latter, given that this is bitcointalk after all.

And you don't really need any title (?) to identify them. Not only would this take a large amount of moderation for a (mainly) pointless feature but it would also require a lot of subjectivity: when projects look shady or go scam.

You were right, it is indeed the MINIMUM between those two values where "time" is

OMG... and this, my friends, is what happens when you post in a forum while you're programming  Roll Eyes

So, if I've understood correctly I need to post 30 times or post once in a 2-week period over 3 separate 2-week periods to be able to send one pm to one person. Lmao.

Whats so funny? I like that adjustment. So you can't easily create an account and spam the members..

Thank you at the thread-maker Wink. I like that system and now I know how it works.

It makes a hell of a lot of sense, I was getting WAY too many newbie accounts messaging me with their super gangsta ICO which will make me millions.

It made me miss the emails I used to get from the Nigerian Prince who wanted me to inherit his money

That's a really smart system that Bitcointalk has, very intricate. So if I understand correct, the next activity cycle will start at 1/30? That's what the spreadsheet I read says.

Indeed. And in order to be more accurate it starts exactly on 1/30/2018 at 19:20:00. Posts before the selected hour will count in the current period Wink

The formula for activity calculation was a bit confusing to me at first, but to all the newbies out there, I've learned that 1 post or comment = 1 activity, essentially.
The best way to get activity is just to be active and post a few things every day.

Hope this helps someone Smiley

Good thread. I was looking for something like this. It should be more prominently displayed when a newbie signs up.

I see. So this system has been planned down to the last detail. I have to hand it to the moderators, this is brilliant even if it takes me long to rank up.

Ah rubbish. Is this why the option for text/picture in my profile doesn't actaully exist?

Do you count to donate to the forum? If yes you can contact theymos and donate as much as you want.
If you want to take some advantages from the donation program so you have to donate what is mentioned 10 or 50 BTC. No change will be made.
