hello sir,
I got 70 activity since 2 days now and still got no member rank.
Whats the issue?

Read the first few lines of the OP.  You need 10 merit points to become a Member.

Ranks

Update on 2/3/18: Merit points are now added
In addition to the activity points, merit points (click for more information) are required to advance your ranking.

hello sir,
I got 70 activity since 2 days now and still got no member rank.
Whats the issue?

Rank requirements has been changed since January of this year. Now you need to earn merits along side the Activity requirements to rank to next level.
You can read more details here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0

For example to proceed to Member rank now you need Activity 60 + Merit 10

You might ask how to earn merits? Well it will be award to you by members based on the quality of your posts.

Just heads up Bounties participation not gonna help you in earning any merits Smiley

how I can raise my activities?
Welcome to bitcointalk

This is how activity is calculated

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is updated every hour

Please read this post from Page 1 it clearly states basics and also visit this board Beginners & Help

Hello everyone,

I'm a newbie on this forum and I wanted to present my side-project with an "altcoin" thread.
As far as I understand, I can't create a new thread without activity and ranks, right?

You're wrong. You can create it but if there's an image, it will be converted into a link (until you reach a rank of "Jr.").

To get rid of that, refer to this: Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images

50 BTc donation? Is that 50 coins or 50 sat? If it is coins than becoming a VIP would cost half a million dollars.

It is 50 BTC indeed. It is not based on fiat conversion, so regardless of the fiat value the price will remain the same unless theymos make a change. Oh and as per hilariousandco said last time (quoted below, he's referring to Donator status), the answer will be same for VIP afaik.

I clarified. It's 10btc. What's not to understand? The price was 10 bitcoins back in the day and won't be changed due to it being unfair to those who donated at the time.

Don't value Bitcoin in fiat... try this 1BTC = 1BTC

They are doing this since 2011...... when 1 BTC = $31.91.... so good morning!
