Again research on your own, I can give you my opinion but no one can predict the future. this coin have great potential if they deliver what they promised , the big platforms. I am pretty sure this coin will have good value maybe more than $10 but again no one can give you 100% guarantee. Also don't invest what you can't afford to lose. |

The dividends were part of the core offering, so it is not a distraction to debate its implications. Hopefully the rest of the core offerings remain intact, like the index/hedge fund like tokens, and also the fund management platform. |

Here's quoting from their whitepaper: "ICN will be an Ethereum-based token of value. Tokens are a digital asset, bearing value by themselves based on their underlying assets, properties and/or rights. ICN tokens represent ownership of the ICONOMI platform, allowing their holders to receive dividends and vote on ICONOMI related issues." And of course numerous other posts here and on Medium. |

But to reach $10 it requited $1B market cap which is much hard in short term of period. Total marketcap for crypto is 24 Billion+ Since we are at the start of cryptocurrency and blockchain that amount might double in the near furture. 5 years, 10 years, nobody knows but reaching 10$ is feasible for me Since we will be buring a lot of ICN and Iconomi objective is to pour fiat money to the cryptospace. We will see that 2 digit. For me it is soon |

An Early Analysis of the Effect of Iconomi's Buyback Program:
So far, my theory has held up very nicely -- every time someone tries to push the price below the support line that represents the "fair consensus value" (perhaps in an attempt to trigger a short-term panic sell), the negative action has always resulted in a defeat, and the price always bounce back within a 1 - 2 hours time frame.
It would suggest the dumpers' ability to manipulate the price & trigger a panic dump has largely been hampered. The main reason is this -- sudden (downward) movement in price no longer has such psychological effect and impact on investor's confidence as before (no more knee-jerk reaction). Investor's confidence can no longer be shattered or influenced easily because of the new safety-net policy installed in place (buyback program). That is the main reason why price can no longer be manipulated in a negative way by any individual. Keep in mind that price manipulation is usually a psychological reaction, and NOT tied to any actual news event.
It also means that the "buyback program" has really serves its role & function as the new anti-dumping defense mechanism -- as soon as an ICN token's price deviates too much from its "fair consensus value," it automatically get scooped up by the investors. To be more precise, the "buyback program" has inadvertently introduced a "race situation": Whenever a dumping event occurs, every investor must now compete with each other to scoop up the ICN token before it get caught by the safety net (whether real or imaginary). That's the reason why we can safely assume that the price will always return to the support line representing the fair valuation.
AS we can see, the new "buyback program" does not only affect the economics of the ICN ecosystem, it also has a psychological component as well. The two most important factors introduced by the "buyback program" are as followed:
1) Boost in investor confidence as a result of new safety-net policy in place and the "fear-for-scarcity" factor.
2) New "race situation" introduced by the safety-net: Now investors do not just compete with each other, they must also compete with the safety-net, whether real or imaginary. The safety net is like an "invisible hand" that keeps everyone in check.
In addition to prevent malicious dumping, the new buyback program also has a price stabilizing effect -- it works to keep the price within the consensus range. and punish those who try to change the natural course of pricing movement through abnormal intervention.

People are allowed to voice opinions other than "Iconomi is going to the moon", you know. Grow up, Daparski. You pop up like a bad smell at any hint of an alternate perspective on something. What I said wasn't even that bad. There will be criticisms, and there will be shills like you ready to get butthurt about the criticisms. The rest just amused me. It is meta.
