"In my opinion". Based on the video shown ICNX is not only for ICN, But for BTC, Ethereum, ICN, Monero, Dash, Augur and many more linked with ICNX.

It is a common ground for a win-win situation no matter what costs is it right now, reminded some have had already a beta access.

If we based on ICN Team performance. They have chosen the right projects to be linked with ICNX and that includes our very own ICN.

What have you noticed? "Most of their investments increased" SO would you say, they will add tokens randomly for ICNX? Totally No, They will only link if they see a potential on that single token. That includes BTC, Ethereum, ICN, Monero, Dash, Augur and many more.

Others might say, It's better not to join with ICN. I prefer ICNX.

I would say to them, "You are out of your mind" ICN is linked with ICNX. If ICN Falls, slightly ICNX will fall with value. But if All tokens and linked with ICNX increases.

Then surely, ICNX increase. If ICN becomes $1, ICNX will increase by a certain percentage if the rest of the other value remains constant that is based on the current overall distribution.

It is like we are holding 10 or more Cryptos in 1 Token.

Would you rather trade your Bitcoin on 1 most preferred coin you like or Trade it with many coins using ICNX with Background and Potential.

There is no max number of ICNX coins.
If you buy one ICNX you are buying the Coins which are in the Index. (they will be bought automatically on an exchange like poloniex)
If you sell it the ICNX Token will be destroyed and the Coins will be selled on an exchange.

Previous discussion does not explain the need of having two tokens I.e ICN and ICNX. Wouldn't one be sufficient? I mean ICN could have acted like what ICNX is supposed to do.
Now the real profit would be given ICNX holders in terms of sharing profit from crypto trades.

There will be lot of services available on the Iconomi platform. I dont think every service can be grouped under a single name for example ICN

Those services will be different from one another. People should be able to identify which one is working best and which one is not so they can improve on that one i think

These quotes and others shows that Tim and others at ICONOMI still have some serious communications problems in getting their message across to the public.  These communications problems need to get addressed immediately if not sooner, and should be at or near the top of the priority list.  Are you listening, guys?

There's gaps in my own understanding which I would appreciate somebody correcting.  In particular, what's the difference between DAMP (digital assets management platform) and OFM (open funds management) platform?   Newer and older names for the same thing?  Not clear to me at all, I missed that memo...

Anyway, ICONOMI has three main projects under development at the same time.  First is ICONOMI.performance, which invests directly in new cryptocoin IPOs.  A second is ICONOMI.index, which calculates an average price among a basket of cryptocoins selected by ICONOMI itself, then tracks changes in that price.  Third is the DAMP/OFM platform, which will be a marketplace where anybody can set up and run their own index fund like ICONOMI.index, based on a different personal mix of coins, and then try to attract investors to their fund as a higher-profit effort.  

ICN is a share of ownership in all ICONOMI software and intellectual property, as well as a share of the fees and profits ICONOMI makes from ALL THREE of their main projects, and also from any other efforts they fund in the future (such as cofound.it).  ICNX is a share of just the index-rise profit made from ONLY ONE of these projects.

There will be times where the ICONOMI.index falls, ICNX suffers a loss, but ICONOMI as a whole will make profit on their other projects.  On that day you want to be holding ICN, not ICNX.

Cofound.it will not render the performance fund useless. Cofound.it mentors projects and does not invest in them. This allows Iconomi to have better vetting of projects before they invest.
