The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Good morning
How do i know who found the last p2pool block?   Huh
I can only see who relayed the share to me and they were not the block finder as the share was not one of theirs.

If you join the p2poool IRC channel, the block finder is announced there.  You have to remain on the channel, or have a bot record it for you, otherwise you'll miss the announcement.

Jonny's Pool - Mine with us and help us grow!  Support a pool that supports Bitcoin, not a hardware manufacturer's pockets!  No SPV cheats.  No empty blocks.

I've launched a new site at http://P2Pool.org

It contains both the data from minefast.coincadence.com and the copy from the old p2pool.org.

P2Pool.org now has a P2Pool node. You are welcome to set it as a backup or primary mining node.

URL: stratum+tcp://p2pool.org:9332
User: YOUR_BTC_ADDRESS
Pass: not required

NOTE: The p2pool.org node now charges a 2% fee (1% to me, 1% to Forrest, P2Pool's developer)

All the same stats that were available on minefast.coincadence.com are now available at:

http://p2pool.org/stats

I will give the existing miners at minefast.coincadence.com a couple-few weeks to move over to p2pool.org, or find another node to mine on. After that I will set up redirects pointing to p2pool.org for the website and shut down minefast.coincadence.com.

If you use minefast.coincadence.com as a primary or backup node you need to update your miners ASAP.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.  He's got no control over the block finder's reward, or over the share life.  The only way for those to be changed would be in the source code, and for all nodes to agree to it by downloading and installing the changed codebase.

Here we go! Somebody's bringing some serious HP (Hash Power) to P2Pool. That's what I like to see 😉

P2Pool running close to 4 PH/s. Hopefully it's more than a test.

You're definitely right about that 😊 There's not much better than that 'just hit a block' feeling...

No, well that was just a lucky streak. It takes 12PH to average a block a day now...

By making change what happens to the remaining balance  ?

I still find it surprising that the new bitcoin.com pool (Running Bitcoin Unlimited client) gained popularity so quickly. They're pushing almost 2% of global hashrate. Roger V. Must have some deep connections.
