Also, am I misunderstanding or are the wallets all stored on your website? If so this is a deal breaker and I will not invest anything. Having control over my own wallet is a bare minimum requirement for consideration.

I can sign in the game without problem, right now I entered in one contest, also I saw a lot of new users registered in contest, Clear your cache,refresh and try again.If you still have problem send a PM message to dev, with details regardig your problem and he can check and resolve your problem.

The wallet is not stored in website, is a Counterparty wallet, customized for this game. You can use any other counterparty wallet, but in footballcoin wallet you can see the graphics for player/stadium cards, In counterparty or coindaddy wallet you'll see only the code of these cards, without graphics.

Is there a way to retrieve that quick access URL, or create a new one? I don't want to enter the 12 word pass phrase every time I want to access my wallet.

Unfortunately on the Counterparty wallet (FootballCoin wallet is a customized Counterparty wallet) the quick access URL is displayed only first time, when you create your wallet.
If you want to use a quick access URL, the only option is to create a new wallet write down the quick access URL and transfer the XFC in the new wallet.

Sorry for that but, unfortunately, we didn't create the wallet and we cannot change this.

Thanks Octa. Is there a fee to transfer XFC between wallets? I thought I had read (maybe mistakenly) that counterparty wallets have a setting where you could set the quick access URL after the wallet was created, but it doesn't appear that the Football wallet supports this function.

Maybe I'll try opening in a non-football wallet and setting a quick access URL that way.

It worked! For my needs, at least.

I went to wallet.counterpaty.io and entered my 12 word passphrase -- my wallet opened fine, and my XFC were there

I then went into settings and copied my quick access URL... unfortunately, it is for the default counterparty wallet and not the football wallet (obviously).

What I then tried was to replace the wallet.counterparty.io portion of the quick access URL with wallet.footballcoin.io, thinking that maybe by just changing the top level domain, I could then I could quick access the football wallet... but that didn't work.

Still, it doesn't matter -- I bought XFC as an investment, not to play the game, so the counterparty wallet works just fine for my needs

This is only the first batch so if you want to be part of something huge in the future then this is  the best time to be part of an ico
you can easily tell if a project is well planned and for long term and Footballcoin has all the ingredients .

They are selling 150 million XFC in their ICO which depending on discounts puts the circulating supply at a valuation of around $4.5 million.

In addition they are selling some in game merchandise (player cards etc.) at a discount to ICO investors, I think they look a bit pricey though. Which may be another 50 million XFC??? (If you open a footballcoin wallet which is a counterparty wallet you can see the player cards etc. nicely presented which exist as counterparty assets I believe)

But from now until their global release in August there will only be that amount on the market. (So everybody that wants XFC before their global release will have to buy from the circulating supply I believe.)

Once they release globally they will be selling XFC through their site from their remaining amount (circa 800 million XFC) to customers but they will base that on the price XFC is currently trading at and the amount of players in the game, so I imagine fairly slowly. Those customers will buying XFC to purchase player cards etc. and so that will be largely tied up in assets and not brought onto the market. (Ideally I'd like them to do some burning where they don't just sell their customers XFC from their remaining stash but buy 20% of the value of the customer purchase off the market and burn it but I don't think that will happen.)

In FootballCoin there is 3 leagues now + 3 more starting August and 34 entry stats data in their scoring system, so my idea is that they can have a similar number of users after global launch in 1-2 years maximum.

Expert development + a real huge user base already are the best opportunities to grow in the future!
Football is #1 sports worldwide and will be there forever... just think about those unbelievable amounts of money people spend for it everywhere.

Signature campaign bounty is active at the moment and there is no announced date when it will end. I'm guessing that they will continue until ICO end to gather more advertising and get people involved in XFC to have a wider community to help list it in exchanges.

There is 1 point that I want to stand correct about. It is very unlikely to touch the remaining 800 mil. in August. We may release another 150 mil. after we reach 10 000 active players in the game but this is not sure that we will do.
Our initial declaration was that we will not touch the remaining 800 mil before August but the way things look now, I don't think we will touch it this year at all.
For the global launch we will not touch the 800 mil. in stash. We will only use what we have left after the ICO and if it is not enough we will buy from the market and resell at higher price for fiat money as coupons in the game.
