investing in bitcoin involves very high risk the prices of bitcoin extremely fluctuating but if you want high return there is a high risk in investment in bitcoin but bitcoin is very profitable for the future.
Yes bitcoin price always fluctuates and everyone knows that. Just like you said it is risky. But in every investment there are always risk. And the higher the risk the higher the profit. So just invest what you can affor and okay for you to lose in case it does not go well. agree with your opinion when you choose the investment we have to learn it does not necessarily immediately invest. it's all a matter of loss and risk that's what every time people suggest before making a decision |

Investing a long term holdings of bitcoin will actually at risk of 50% chances to fall now due to expensive bitcoin price; and sell price is lower compared to buying price. But if we thing longer terms of investments, well I guess that’s not risky at all and yet bitcoin has a bigger capability to rise higher of it’s price and it’s been projected to reach from $2000 up to $4000 next year 2018. Don’t think of other investments other than btc and you must choose the right path now the answer is digital currency investments because it’s been profitable for years.

All investment has a risk and it is depend to you how you handle it because if you invest your money into a altcoin or bitcoin and you choose a short or mid-term it has a high risk i think because you need to see always the chart and guard it and if you invest your target is to gain a profit right so basically all investments has a risk.

I think bitcoin isn't a secure coin. Because its not legal valid in every country. I think also this is most profitable coin in world. Do invest here you will get big profit. If you take own risk.

Of course investing in bitcoin got a risk, and we only can predict the price we cant know for sure how will be bitcoin in the future, and the price can go down like last month, bitcoin price can down if there is a big incident, and judging from the chart and the growth bitcoin can be very profitable for the future, just buy and hold few coin see for yourself whether you satisfied with then growth or not, and everytime is the right time to buy because the demand of this coin keep on increasing

I think it is impossible to calculate the risk in bitcoin investments. The cryptocurrency market is always volatile. You can easily recognize the bitcoin value by the end of 2017 and the present time. It is also affected by hackers or online frauds. It also indirectly creates a risk when investing bitcoin.

I just wanted to know that,what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit.But i want to know what is the risk involved.Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
i think bitcoin is risky because bitcoin prices can rise high and also fall dramatically and will be risky for those who invest in addition bitcoin is also not regulated by the central government then it is at a very big risk to instability. Its value is not determined by the authority but based on the purchasing capacity of the network. |

You can see for yourself now how much of a big risk people have invested in their Bitcoin by the end of 2017, you can see for yourself the price is very far down and this is making big losses for them. Some people will feel sorry not to sell their Bitcoin in 2017 because they can benefit very well.

We cannot quantify the risk that we are going to face in investing in bitcoin. If we will invest just make sure you are ready with the risk that we are about to experience. Crypto Market is too volatile and everything can happen may we earn or we may loose our investments. |

For example, if you buy Apple stock, that is connected to the well being of the Apple corporation. With bitcoin, it's not immediately obvious what influences the price of bitcoin, which makes it less possible to figure out what can change prices.
The other issue is that bitcoin is still quite new, and there is still a lot of room for unknown.

there is no fool proof answer to this question. it is all speculation.
the risks are there but in my opinion price going down in long term has a very small chance. but in short term because of some stuff that are going on can go down but i won't last long.
but there is another risk that people usually forget, when you are using bitcoin you are in charge of keeping your private keys (your wallet) safe. and if you fail to do that, you will lose your money. this risk is easily manageable though, since you can learn how to make a safe wallet (read about cold storage) and never worry about this risk.
This is a good explanation of some of the impacts Bitcoin has on us. I am new and need to learn a lot. Moreover, about some risks of bitcoin investment. I agree with the phrase that "bitcoin risk if the price going down in the long term" the risk we just need extraordinary patience |

This is no accurate answer, I can tell you is that in the past one month, when I was in the currency us $20000 to buy, now the currency of the price is $8000, it fell by $12000 in a month

For me just like any businesses the bitcoins are very risky because it involves money and the thing in bitcoins is that you do not know if the price eill go down or up but if you are long enough in this business you will notice that there are patterns in the prices that the bitcoins are ranking in the market. It always depends in the bitcoins users around the eorld in ehat will be the value of bitcoins |
