I do not think that we can measure it in specific percentage the risk of Bitcoin. Because as we all know, the Bitcoin is a free flowing currency and affected directly and almost solely by the demand of itself. However, I can compare it through other investments and I must say, with the experience I made in investing, Bitcoins and cryptocurrency investment is really risky. The volatility of it's value makes it really risky compared to stocks, real estates and mutual funds.

For me, if you have money and interested in btc, you can buy 3-4 btc to get profits. However it’s better to diversify your coin such as altcoin, ethereum. Although we all think and predict that bitcoin’s price trends to rise in the next coming month, you should remember that digital market is volatile, we don’t know for sure whether it will continue increasing or decreasing. So you’d better invest type of different coins to be much safer. |

I just wanted to know that,what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit.But i want to know what is the risk involved.Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
Investing in bitcoins is clearly risk. The first because all based on the virtual and the second is no one can guarantee the stability of the price. But the risk seems to be paying off with bitcoin prices every time |

It os 100% risky. All of business is risky not only in bitcoin. So before engaging in any business venture make sure that you have a enough knowledge in business management. And make sure that you analize the venture before you give your investment. Because anytime your money and or investment may loss and it is not easy to stand coming from loss. The best way before investinh in bitcoin is to read articles or watch a news about bitcoin so your being familirized for waht are you going to do. And much better if you talk someone who are doing bitcoin in a good result to get some advice and strategy.

Bitcoin is very popular currency in present world. We can invest Bitcoin when Bitcoin prise will be increase. If we invest Bicoon when Bitcoin condition is very good mean Bitcoin prise is high. when Bitcoin prise is low that time maybe lose. Last of all we can say that bitcoin invest very little risk and here is a big benifit. So we can invest it easyly.

It is risky because we actually don't know what will happen to bitcoin in the future, but in terms of investment well I guess you are right. If you buy bitcoin as of the present, chances are in a few months or years it'll profit I'm sure especially if the government still won't take over and still it won't be taxed them. Just make sure to secure them in a safe place like a hard wallet or something.

too much risk is involve in investing in bitcoin because of the volatile in price. The prediction of price in a months or years are pure speculation and nobody can dictate what will be the real value in the future. If bitcoin dumps, its right time to buy some and make some profit for short time. |

As much as you can but never more than what you can afford to lose... unless you are already a millionare, I don't see why making big investment will help you out at all. |

There is no specific number of how much is bitcoin risky. The thing that I know is it is risky but we need to take risk for us to earn and make more money. If you do not know or if you are afraid to take risk there is no good thing will happen in your life. It will make your life boring and a mess. In bitcoin investment risking is a big part of it for you to earn a lot. |

Yes Bitcoin price can decreases impromptu but there's no way it will fall to zero and you can bet that with time(not so long) it will pick up again and you an still make your profit. This way, I don't see any risk in it. Except you are scammed by traders

Of course investing in bitcoin got a risk, and we only can predict the price we cant know for sure how will be bitcoin in the future, and the price can go down like last month, bitcoin price can down if there is a big incident, and judging from the chart and the growth bitcoin can be very profitable for the future, just buy and hold few coin see for yourself whether you satisfied with then growth or not, and everytime is the right time to buy because the demand of this coin keep on increasing
Yes you are right. No one can predict for the price of bitcoin in the future since the price goes up and down every now and then. But becuse I am a believer of bitcoins and been studying the flow of it from the articles. I am still continuing to invest bitcoins for long term investment. |

The risk of bitcoin is not for newbie risk appetite this is because of the range of trade to entry bitcoin price can go up and exceedingly go down in one day, if you plan to take it long hodl then it is more safer and profitable than very short

The risk is only there if you invest money you can't afford to lose. I see most financial advisors recommending to put just 10% of your portfolio in crypto. (I have about 40%)
I hedge my bets and put in a few different coins but unfortunately most seem to be connected to btc and rise and fall with it.
