All investments involve risk. But people cannot insure themselves against this. The most important thing is never to put all your eggs in one basket.  Cool I have great trust in bitcoin and I believe it will always thrive as it always has.

that's true, investing in bitcoin  is not just a funds that you will put in one place and wait to pump up, you should consider all possible strategy just to have a gain in return. remember that bitcoin is a high risk investment because of volatility, so you need to monitor all the time, read a lot about speculation of alt coins movement, and most of all you need to study each alt coins first before you make a conclusion because in just wrong moves you will loss your funds. sometimes you need to wait for so long because the one that you holds is not moving at all.  that's why bitcoin is very risky in terms of investment.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

All investments have risk. But you should exercise using calculated risk. This means that the reward is far more higher compare to losing your investment. Our goal is to earn so in order for us to achieve that is to try.

The riskiest investment you have ever made if you don't live in a country of hyper inflation. As long as you know it has that volatility going and that nobody truly knows what and when price will increase or decrease then you are ready for trading.

Bitcoin investment has so much risk because once and for all, bitcoin is money. Bitcoin is a paperless money.
So in investing in bitcoin, you have to be wise and see to it that you have done your research. In the traditional way, it's like making a feasibility study.

I risk just 0,5 in BTC amount. But another investment equivalent is around 3 BTC in other coins or assets which are the similar risk like BTC.

yep you have risk. You have risk in all the currency related trading or investment, but for bitcoin there's no risk involved but patience is required to wait till the prices are up and should not get panic in between. To be specific bitcoin is 0% risk but 200% profit, this is just for one year and if you invest for few years the profit doubles or triples your actual investment amount.

There's is no specific rate of what amount of risk you will take in investing in bitcoin. But you need to put on your mind that bitcoin is risky in investing we can say that all business are risky but we need to take it so that we can learn from our experiencee. Taking risk is better than do nothing and if you do not move by yourself you cannot be successful on the things the you want to fulfill.

Nothing comes without risk, especially when it comes to any form of currency whether that be fiat or crypto. When judging whether or not this is a worth while investment there are several things that bitcoin offers that make it unique and imo a worthwhile consideration. Bitcoin and the system behind bitcoin uses encryption techniques to regulate the amount of the BTC generated this is a positive as it prevents any mass market manipulation, do people want it? I think from what we have seen over the past few months and years it is clearly an asset that is increasing in demand and yes don't get me wrong past performance is no guarantee of future performance however it is usually a very good indicator. With the amount of press currently surrounding the subject and the drastic increase in traffic imo it is a worth while investment.

I think that there is the slightest risk in investing in bitcoin and I think that bitcoin will exceed 100,000 dollars this year, I would even recommend you to sell your home car and invest in bitcoine.

I have seen this question many times and i will continue to answer it the way I usually do. Every investment out there is not 100% safe. If you invested in gold and thought it was safe, think again, the government could seize it like in the great depression. What about leaving your money in the bank, the bank may go bankrupt and you wouldn’t get your money back. Thinking about investing in the stock market, the whole thing could crash the next day. Same with bitcoin, no investment will be 100% safe and have profit, that is just too good to be true.

Even though with these risks, I would still invest in bitcoin since it seems to be a good option out there and it seems to be on a steady rise up. But, don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Diversify your portfolio. Have some money in everything. This, in my opinion is the safest investment option.

The best time to invest in bitcoin is when the price is low. For example now it could be one of this moments. Always invest as much as you can afford to loose...just in case....never more

the bitcoin price placement is very relative and so far it can not be predicted and I do not think it's a risk in terms of price reductions. but what is worried about is the risk of a bitcoin asset storage site that you will use as a wallet to store the bitcoin assets that you will store in a sizable amount. I think in an investment that you would do with bitcoin of course you should use a wallet site that is safe enough so there is no risk of hacking of bitcoin assets that you save for a long period of time.

Yes bitcoin price always fluctuates and everyone knows that.  Just like you said it is risky.  But in every investment there are always risk.  And the higher the risk the higher the profit.  So just invest what you can affor and okay for you to lose in case it does not go well.

At a very basic level, there are two obvious sources of risk:
High volatility by definition makes bitcoin risky. A popular cross-rate XBT:USD has a realized 30-day volatility of 43.3% and a 90-day volatility of 67.44%. Not many people can stomach the swings you see in Bitcoin's value.
Security risks. Given the relative infancy of all parties involved in the act of investing in Bitcoin (exchanges, escrows, wallets), the security protocols, interfaces and code, etc. are ripe for attacking from a hacker's point of view. These vulnerabilities have been and are being exposed and exploited fairly regularly. See Mt. Gox, SilkRoad, etc for evidence of this in action.
I'm sure there are many other nuances and more involved risks embedded in a purely digital distributed currency, but for purposes of the average beginner investor, the above two should represent the bulk of "risk" experienced

Every investment is risky and same goes with bitcoin too as we cannot be sure what will happen in future with bitcoins. So it's better to invest only amount in it which we can afford to loose and diversification is always an best choice for investment.
