Investments are always risky irrespective of what the person is investing in, to those who invested into bitcoins when the currency reached the 19K mark, I am sure that they will be very nervous and even afraid of where the current value of bitcoin and am sure that most of sold it and have made some lost out of it because they were impatient.

Mostly of the investors when they are investing bitcoin they don't mine the risk but they already understand that risk because they are investing to gain a profit and not the risk

Investing in bitcoin have a lot of risk because you only know the current price you don't know what price will be in future, price can go up and can also go down. You just have to invest what you can offer to loss.

I just wanted to know that,what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit.But i want to know what is the risk involved.Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
you risk bigger than you thought but if you were an early starter from year 2012 or 2013 you are an amazing fellow you waited for many years thats what i call investment |

Actually you can't somehow measure the risk of investment but I can say that bitcoin investment is totally a risky way of earning money. In investing in bitcoin you cannot somehow tell tgat if you're going to earn because sometimes in investing it has a possibility of losing all of your money and it has a possibility for you to get scammed. |

I think it's very safe, but there are other risks that people usually forget, that is when you use bitcoin, you are responsible for keeping your private key (your wallet). and if you fail to do that, you will lose your money ...

When you try to invest there is always risk but you can not actually know the outcome. Aside from that, it is always 50/50 because there might be a possibility that the outcome will go into success or into failure.

Bitcoin opens big opportunity for everyone to invest their money. But their is a big risk despite of the profit it offers, since it is decentralized it is not backed up by the government not like the way it does in stock market

In investment there's always a risk. the more you risk your money you getting a lot of rewards in the future. if i were you save a lot of money that makes you happy and confident. bitcoin may go up and down but eventually it will go up up and away!

Well, every investment does have some risk but I think bitcoin has developed itself over time and it is just going north from here in the long term. And Each and every trade got a risk factor. But I think the bitcoin is still a new concept to some parts of the world. That is, it has a room for growing. So you can always expect a good return. But it can go down in price for a short term of period. If you can control that panic situation then you will get a good profit. |

high risk is very high because we can get stuck when the price is very high and unexpectedly the price drops down and makes you panic then you sell cheap and make you lose. |

There are risk in every investment.Even if you invest a small amount of money then you have to bear a small amount of risk.So it proved that Bitcoin investment risks too and it is fairly good.

There are no investment that does not come with a certain risk or other. But people cannot insure themselves against this. Most often people are ruining greed. Fraudsters take advantage of human greed you cannot trust a man who offers you a too favorable conditions. Use only proven resources and the risk of loosing money in minimal. If you think you can handle the risk then you can invest.

Investing bitcoins is very risky if you do not have the knowledge, but it's different if you get bitcoin for free. That would be great.
You can follow the bitcoin faucet and follow the bounty in this forum to get some satoshi for free.

bitcoins is a crytpocurrency which means it’s always a high risk asset. It has 0 backing in the form of hard assets like Gold and stuff. Invest at your own risk

before investing bitcoin in fact we are already faced with a small risk, do not be too focused on external threats.
