How much risk in bitcoin investement ?

if now we want to invest 3 - 4btc, very risky in my opinion. However, if we project to invest long-term or fastest for 3 years. I think, we are on the right choice with of course the value that happens more expensive than today.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have a high rish high reward invesment because their characteristic of very high volatility. But you can overcome all of it by surrounding yourself with knowledge throught research and learning. Cryptoworld is worth researching for and worth spending your time with there are lots of individuals that has changed their lives because of cryptocurrency. I just wanted to know that,what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit.But i want to know what is the risk involved.Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.

I think that's a lot of value. investing for the long term on bitcoin I think the risk is very small. Because we all believe bitcoin will climb.

Because bitcoin is volatile asset. We don't know how the price of it will fluctuate. Maybe today it will increase and tomorrow will down. We cannot predict its price. We don't know if we are gaining or loosing of money. That's why it is too risky to invest with bitcoin but for sure if you are lucky, you gain more profits. Bitcoin in the first place comes in risk because of its volatility. But what will you achieve if you dont take the risk, we will never know what is gonna happen if we didn't take the risk. there is no fool proof answer to this question. it is all speculation.
the risks are there but in my opinion price going down in long term has a  very small chance. but in short term because of some stuff that are going on can go down but i won't last long.

but there is another risk that people usually forget, when you are using bitcoin you are in charge of keeping your private keys (your wallet) safe. and if you fail to do that, you will lose your money. this risk is easily manageable though, since you can learn how to make a safe wallet (read about cold storage) and never worry about this risk.

Agree wih you, probably people are worried about their loss, but remember the last year the price between the period of opening and closing 2017. In a word  who are  holding for the long term only they are the gainer.
