I think there is no risk to invest in bitcoin. Because bitcoin price is just up and down but people don't lose any bitcoin what they invest. People want more profit with bitcoin and they invest there.

There is no risk? Oh god, look at the market man, there is big loss for the bitcoin owners including me. I'm not a short term investor, so it's not a big problem for me, yet the situation or worrying somehow. We need to watch the last news very closely so that we can be ready for the next emergency like pumps, dumps and price crashes. |

The only risk in bitcoin investment is obviously due to price fluctuation matter .The value of Bitcoin is always a subject to volatility and therefore it is possible always to decrease suddenly. Increment or decrement of the market price entirely depends upon the flow of users and consumer rate. But if someone has a firm Belief in virtual currencies then obviously it would take some time to earn profit but all he has to do is to continue with the flow and never stop investing in BTCs. |

If you make a short-term investment in bitcoin, the risk is huge because bitcoin is still in development and bitcoin can fluctuate more widely, so the price of bitcoin may plunge in the short term. Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit.But i want to know what is the risk involved.Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
I can say medium risk. More and more people now are into bitcoin because its potential that traders see. If your into trading bitcoin you can surely make a huge profit. |

First thing before you enter in crypto world you need to be a risk taker because in all investment that u will join .. There will no guarantee that the money that you invest will return with interest or double ..some investment site are very risky

There is no telling when is the right time to buy, and its on you if you will invest in BTC, all of this are just predictions and speculations so there's no telling who will prevail. If you can afford what can you lose then invest on it, it might be a treasure or a stone, you might be a casual guy now or you might become a millionaire, the risk is there as well as the success, just make sure that at the end of the day you don't have regrets on whatever decision you will do today because cryptos are just starting, this might be bumpy ride but the travel and destination is worth it. |

Hi all,
I think of course there is risk to investing in Bitcoin but as a 'late' Bitcoin enthusiast I think there is a long way to go. We are still at the beginning in my opinion.
Of course we've seen it bump over the last number of days but it's starting to creep up again. As always invest what you are comfortable with and don't invest more than you can afford to lose!

Investing a lot in bitcoin is risky but still i believe that bitcoin price will increase in the future. If you are to invest in bitcoin evaluate yourself just invest first a little or amount that you can afford to lose if ever it fails but if you believe in bitcoins possibility to increase then you can invest a lot take that risk.

There's no specific amount of risk in Butcoin but to estimate it, it is not that much risky. The onky risk is its volatility such that its price changes from time to tine and oftenly falls although it will eventually increase. And one of the problems is tmits legalizaation wherein Bitcoin is nit yet legal to most of the countries therefore, it is limited as a currency to those people who lives in those countries. |

Bitcoin investment only become a risky type of investment when you try to short bitcoin because bitcoin is very risky at that point and it is better to hold it and make it as a long term investment rather than short term investment because it will not bring your the best results and shorting is not always resulting to a good one so better be safe than sorry. |

Basically we don't know the risk in every site if you invest money in a site first is you don't know if the site was trusted there are site that can give you small profit but many site are just scamming people who invested.
Yes, and every investments has a risk specially bitcoins since it is crypotcurrency and mostly all its transactions are internet based then that would also be vulnerable to all threats via internet and same goes with all risks in common marketing investments though I would say bitcoin has the highest potential for earning among other investments options now. So it compensates the risks compared to all your possible earnings. |

The risks can be so many including competitive alt coins and possible hard forks in the future. Other price related risk involve pumping and dumping bitcoins on a large scale. The risks are high, but the pay is really good compared to other coins. |
