Looks like price dropping.

Probably the early investors (first 100) who owns almost 100% of XEL start to cash out.

Annoying but hey, at least more hands will own XEL now..

If we advertise, I am positive the price will jump. I have worked in finance/tech/marketing for 10 years. I've watched projects with larger money risks benefit from less-direct marketing. This is an easy spot. This will pay off handsomely. I don't think we should wait too much longer, either way it will work.

If you look at the patterns around verge, you'll see what I mean.

Also, Ethereum is not bad company to be in, as far as advertising on Bittrex.

Is this project still active? It looks like they have stalled. Is there any active network outside of the coin itself?

are the developers working full time on elastic?

I have lots of questions about the future of this project. Would be interested to get in contact with leaders of elastic.

If the developers are not being paid do they have full time jobs outside their work on elastic?

I have lots of questions about the future of this project. Would be interested to get in contact with leaders of elastic.

It has not stalled at all. I know, I am taking a much needed deep breath. The project has been going on for about 18 months and is not stopping. I have started to plan our conference in 2019/2020.

I am thinking Palau

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5aJOUVupk4

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palau

It is strange to think in terms of "leader" for an open source project.

Love it. Can't wait to meet him in Palau.

They both said it. Trolls for sure.

I am pretty sure it's the same guy who claimed, that the redeeming mechanism will not work at all!
* rolling on the floor laughing *

The redeeming process is actually one of the smoothest I've seen in numerous ICOs (yeah, I know, Elastic was not an ICO… But my point stands). Others can learn a lot from it.

Sorry, perhaps stalled was not the right word.

I was looking at the github and seen Lizyaffe, your main contributor has not committed in some time. Is that you who are on a break? Do you think you will be returning to the code soon?

Is there an up to date road map I can look at for the future of elastic?

I'm not sure if my question was answered before; are the developers of elastic being paid by the company, or is this a donated time open-source project?

Some open-source projects have a core team of paid developers, and then open it up to the community, I'm wondering if this is the case.

It looks like a very interesting project, I will be sure to keep watching!

Many of your questions will be easier to answer once our foundation is set up. That may take a week, that may take 3 months. I know others have already taken steps. We literally just got on to Bittrex 6 days ago. It was a big win for us, especially since all of our excellent devs have been grinding for 18 months.

The repos were recently organized, so that they would be ready for the exchanges, publicity, etc.

If you look at the prototypes, you'll see that we really are much further along than nearly any other project when they hit exchanges.

We are both a consumer product for researchers and an interesting crypto-currency project. Crossfield projects like these are usually slam dunks.

I guess my updates to my github over the last month mean nothing...so yes, I guess it's stalled then.

Good to see you pop in EK, although I don't blame you for keeping your head down with the other devs and working elsewhere.  Nothing but price talk on here now.  Me and my other buddies who are original "donators" are still holding, and even buying more on these dips.

Yea long term maybe it will go high, short and medium term it has a lot of room to go down

Neither  of us  has a crystal ball when it comes to the future of any cryptocoin. The success of Elastic will depend on the attitude of developers (in wide sense) towards accepting decentralized paradigm in their  design flow.

Price moves up or price moves down, doesn't change the fact that this project is one of the good ones.
Solid dev work and great devs, solid tech to power it, highly progressive, vast potential for growth and highly disruptive, Great community (excluding obvious trolls who are here for their own agenda).
If you believe this project will release a good working system then current price should not matter to you anyway, it's just a long term view instead of impatient shortsightedness.

The game is always like this. What can I say more?

XEL has a tech, active devs, good community and cheap price.

The first rule of profit making; buy low sell high.

IMO, price is not important for now, at least for me, my price is 0.001 btc (if you wish to buy from me), I'm the seller and this is my price.

I don't care the 13k price on bittrex right now, last week when it hit to first big exchange it was trading around 40k (first hours), some ICO donators sold their stash of course.

Who knows, maybe we can see these prices again this month, maybe more. I heard that Chinnese are bought some good amount in OTC. ( A Chinese exchange maybe).

13k 37k 50k 100k

My point is the price is not driving the project anywhere.

Project is good, idea is good, devs are amazing, spirit here is amazing.

Have a nice weekend.

Best.

Ek and coralreefer had a nice conversation yesterday night at slack . Good thing is that techy guys are interested for the project and we might see new Devs coming.

It is so funny that people are selling. They all will be regretting if they one day wake up and the core hero devs released the main product, you will than have no time to buy in because you are than to late! Just look at other decentralized computer project, and look to the marketcap and make than a calculation..

This is still the "stealth" phase IMO. The project is still way under the crypto radar.

Even if it drops further it is still shocking to see at these levels, we all know long term it will head back up with more developments but for now profit takers are gunna cash out - Nearly all alts are down anyway at the moment. To the people that care about this drop and although it might go further, if you believe in the project it won't matter in the end. So dump or hold, but 1 XEL = XEL and I can say in a years time I doubt we are are anywhere near this price, not with devs as dedicated as we have here.
