As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.
Surely, no one knows. It is the same of when will bitcoin end. As long as it benefits miners, investors and people in this community, existence of bitcoin will be still. Deflations are inevitable that confuses people about the productivity and lifespan of Bitcoin and crypto currency. It may sound cliche' but, it is really a part of Bitcoin's volatility. There'll be times of its ups and downs. |

Bitcoin will last as long as the price of it will be higher and it will not be stable for its current price. But I believe bitcoin will be last as long as we are patronizing it and we are buying and selling it. Technology is continually develop so everything's will be online especially in investing and buying online and bitcoin is a way to make this everything successful. The bitcoin in the life of people who are successful because of it will continually promote it to their fellows so that bitcoin will be known globally.

In my opinion, bitcoin will end in 2050 and will be a lot of enthusiasts as it is getting popular and getting better from year to year.
umm! It’s really amazing to think about bitcoin and the rapidly increasing price of the bitcoin a lot of people who are now trusting bitcoin and they are ready to invest their money in bitcoin so after taking a look of all this and looking back at the price from where they took a start there is a huge difference now so I think it will grow more and more instead of decreasing. |

What are you asking? Are you asking if the price of BTC will forever rise?
Nobody knows. Nobody has a crystal ball. It will go up, it will go down. How long each leg will be up or down, nobody knows.
I think a lot like to think that BTC will rise, especially on this forum, let's wait and see.
I agree with this. Yes, nobody will know when. But I know as long as there are many users and it continues to grow and develop, it will stay as it is. Rising and falling of price of bitcoin is normal and inevitable, and it is one way to see that bitcoin is improving. |

People are wary of bitcoin how long it will last. More are worried because of its volatility of it. But bear in mind that bitcoin exist because people used it. It is the demand that drives its growth. When people are no supporting bitcoin, then its btc's end.

Because digital currency is needed, and because Bitreserve used it and several customers use it also,and whether or not bitcoin exists forever, or whether it disappears in 10 years or five years or even 2 years, bitcoin is needed today.. It’s desired now, and thus bitcoin has managed to retain at least some level of its value, and will do so for as long as internet exist. |

There is no definite answer to your question. But as long as Bitcoin has users it will last. The time table or the life expectancy of Bitcoin is not known because it always depends on us the consumers or users of Bitcoin, now we are the ones who are affected the most from bad news and good news but the bad news are the ones who gives us negative views for Bitcoin. The demand of Bitcoin is always changing that is why we see Bitcoin go down in the hundreds as it is a very volatile currency.

There's only so many BTC out there so eventually the price will increase and we will start using smaller denominations, and it is something that can be easily split and that makes its longevity better in my opinion.

I agree with this, bitcoin continues to improve itself so that it can give a good service. Many countries are now accepting bitcoin and i do expect that in the next 10years bitcoin is now everywhere and in my view bitcoin will last forever. Nothing lasts forever and bitcoin is not an exception but bitcoin has the potential to go for a very long time, and since it keeps getting updated by the devs then bitcoin can stay current to new developments, however I think the next 10 years are going to make or break bitcoin if it can resist then I think the bitcoin project could last for centuries. |

It will last for a lot of years maybe for the first 50 years and it will be upgraded again into v2.0 or something like that. But it will still be called bitcoin and transactions will be automated and bitcoin will be the medium of it. As I can see that everyone is riding with the craze of using bitcoin for online transactions. bitcoin / cryptocurrency are the next generation of money , a lot of people believe on this statement. the way bitcoin works to transfer money around the world in easy way and reasonable fee makes people falling in love with bitcoin , it is just the matter of time . how people especially the developers drive bitcoin , keep creating a breakthrough things and make this world better . I'm one of those people that are believing that bitcoin is going to be the new era's money. And as technology will make our lives easier, everything will be digital, transactions, money and almost everything. Crypto's will open a lot of opportunities and it is going to make the coin live and last a life time. |

Bitcoin will most likely last us a long long time. We can clearly see that the popularity is only in the increase and that Bitcoin is still the top cryptocurrency available to us. Bitcoin is the next generation of money and I am sure that it will be widely adopted in society.

NO doubt it is going to last a very long time and with current market cap of bitcoin it's likely going to last for more than a decade or even more. As long the people who are surrounding the crypto market is going to give a full blast and support to bitcoin. This is going to be the major currency worldwide and transactions will be easier. |

I think Bitcoin can easily last for more than 40 to 50 years from now as it is becoming popular day by day. It is showing very good growth rates which is making it a popular option amongst investors. It is becoming more and more stable everyday.
