About 60 to 75 dB depending on which Antminer we are talking about.

Guys I have a questions related to all the antminers.
I know they are loud, but are they "put it in a room close the door and you´ll be fine" loud, "you have to put it in the basement and you won´t notice them" loud, or are they "will fuck up the whole neighbourhood" loud?
2nd one more likely , its like a vaccum cleaner loud

Ah thx, vacuum cleaner loud is pretty loud. So I guess if it is very quiet I could still notice a vacuum cleaner in my basement Okay so I should get a ethernet cable into my basement before ordering, good to know! I have some sound foam lying around, so I could turn the volume down a bit if necessary.

the main problem is not the noise but the heat coming from these things. when I test my miner over night, the walls heated up to around 40°C. these things easily blow 65-70°C out. And they move a lot of air. You should think about the cooling. Even 1 machine will heat up a basement within a day

Winter is coming, underfloor heating is very welcome But good to know, thank for the hint. I have a tiny 3 gpu rig up and running in a room and can already tell how it heats up in a small dimension.

Ibelink 11 is having 5 fans, each fan is over 5000 RPM. Its VERY loud and hot, but under full conditioning room, the temp never exceeds 32 deg Celsius. And the wall and floor is cold. I'm in Equator, so humidity and heat is a big challenge. Cannot be your walls heating up to 40deg C

Today i ran a test in the kitchen (ca 12m²) with 2 l3+. The result is similar to one D3: Two L3+ generate around 1600 Watts of heat. Today's outside-temp was around 18 C°, roomtemp before starting around 22. After ~ 3 hours without opened window the temp climbed to 28.5 C° The exhaust-wind is shaking the leaves of the plants in there like there was a little storm going on. Good thing their final destination is not inside the house. You can clearly hear them through two closed doors

this is my first post, i did buy (16-23 November) batch of D3 found about this item way too late and this is my calculations. from what i saw in this tread around 30000 d3 where sold including 18000 form last batch if numbers are correct. current difficulty is around 1mil with 30th network hashrate (roughly) so 30000 units of d3 means + 450th to network hashrate its like 15x increase of network hashrate, so i assume difficulty will increase accordingly and it will be 15mil (roughly) with this difficulty it will be around 10-15 USD day on dash mining at the end of November if dash price wont go down. i used coinwarz calculator https://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/dash-mining-calculator/?h=15000.00&p=1200.00&pc=0.10&pf=0.00&d=15046312.86048716&r=1.80147602&er=0.08062313&btcer=4821.57250000&hc=0.00i know there is another manufacturers out there who are delivering miners before november and difficulty will be higher, and there are other coins too which will consume some of this hashrate. my question is, is it realistic calculations or i missing something here? i just want to know what to expect.

If Bitmain is doing like before, this number is way to high. It's probably mixed with people that just buy and take out the count but don't pay with coin. In the previous batches, I would make really late purchases and leave them open expecting the "Sold Out" to come back, but they never did. It may just be extras to prevent people buying 50 and not paying at a time. Think about it this way. Let's assume the hashrate does spike something very high. Would you rather buy 2 Antminers for $3k and match the Dashmaster that costs $10k. Sure the Dashmaster may be delivered earlier, but at the same time, the hashrate may not be what they post. Plus the Dashmaster has to compete with Antminers being released in october and sept, so it's not like they reach their profitability either. Also, the Dashmaster might be a 22gh/s with the wattage, who knows. I don't think it's reasonable to expect the miner to itself off within 1 month. That's just too much to ask for.

Wow, people are really paying crazy high prices for the D3, especially September batch. I even saw one listing at Ebay with current price of over 11000 USD. ELEVEN THOUSAND!

Can somebody smarter than me work out an inline fan to take the heat away from 4 D3'S please?
what is the actual m3/h they would generate?

Also the prices on eBay and amazon for L3+ are crazy high Its the new goldrush. I kinda get scared for my next purchase lol. Website down when ordering, the whole world wants some of the pie and if you are not lucky enough you got crazy people paying horrendous amounts of money pumping up the price lol

So many people are confident the DASH price will rise again. For that price the price of Dash better go in the thousands. It may just do that. Although you can't confuse sell price with buy price. I can anything I want at any price, that doesn't mean someone will buy it. Is there a way to see what auctions have sold to gauge price?

And because of that I think it´s save to buy all those miners (except the really old ones) Month ago people said nooo don´t buy L3+ it won´t be profitable when arriving and even to this day people sell them for almost 5000€ on ebay.
Even super old miners that are not profitable by any means get bought by people having no clou. When the next new miner gets release I´ll buy as much as I can affort, it is very unlikely to loose money.
