Any interesting x11 coins launching in November? It would be nice to have alternative to dash...
Helium is supposed to be coming soon. See my sig. M I just skimmed the Helium Whitepaper and saw no reference to the X11 Algorithm. Do you have knowledge that this will be the platform? Helium is a fork of Dash and will use the same X11 algorithm (at first). There will be a review some time after launch in which the hashing algorithm will be re-evaluated, but I doubt that will happen within the first 12 months. Source: I just searched the Helium slack channel for all references to X11 and this seems to be the current consensus. I don't think Helium is a fork, but is based on the same code. M It's a Dash (x11) code 'clone' and 'fork' of the spreadcoin blockchain collateral, those two together are the 'swap'

Hi Chaps.
Names Greg. I luckily managed to buy 2x DASH d3s in august before their website crashed. ORder has been fully paid and confirmed, with their 2 Accompanying PSUs.
Unfortunately I am in a sticky situation financially, and will have to sell them to sort out some personal things. I have and willing to send any proof of payment or screenshots of the confirmed order number, the order confirmation from BITMAIN emails etc. If anyones interested please could you PM me, i will be putting it up on ebay in a couple of days if no one heres interested. We can work out how to do the deal, as i said, im not a scammer. Please let me know!
THanks

It seems like everyone I talk to has had a D3 order and not paid. I'm optimistic that it's a trend across all of these batches and that difficulty won't be as crazy as predicted.

Good to know though, I may just be old but it's weird as shit what people do with their free time and no money.

The main thing for you to do, is to accept escrow. Beside the proof that you got the miners paid, escrow is the way to go. But I have wrote you a PM, lets see what your price range is

Does anybody know the specs of the fans that are on the S9 which i am guessing will share a very similar setup? I am trying to calculator the 780 m3/hour to CFM to see if I have enough fans to dissipate the heat. I have 4 D3'S on route next month and need to be ready !

It looks like Bitmain just announced a brand new X11 miner called the AntMiner D3. With Dash's recent surge, the D3 may be the most profitable mining device Bitmain has ever released. Update: 1st batch from September has just become available for sale on Amazon here. See our thread over in BitcoinTalk's marketplace for more details. Please note that batch 1 was extremely limited in quantity and inventory may not last long. [im g]http://oi68.tinypic.com/mhuc6f.jpg[/img]1. Specifications of the Antminer D3 are as follows: a) Hash rate: 15 GH/s (Variation of ±5% is expected) b) Power consumption: 1200W (at the wall, with Bitmain’s APW3 PSU, 93% efficiency, 25°C ambient temp). c) Dimensions of the miner: 320*130*190mm d) Hashing algorithm: X11 2. Power consumption figures will vary with your PSU's efficiency, the ambient operating temperature and the accuracy of the power meter. 3. Bitmain recommends use of the APW3++ PSU with the Antminer D3. One APW3++ PSU can not power more than one Antminer D3. 4. To confirm your order, remember to click on "Pay for Order" after you have submitted your order. You can then select you preferred method of payment 5.The shipping for this batch is expected to start on a first-order-first-ship basis after 15 September for orders that Bitmain has received full payment for. As this is the first batch of the Antminer D3, there can be unexpected delays in shipment due to an unforeseen demand. 6. We advise you to research and prepare in advance for the customs' clearance in your country to avoid delays or unexpected costs. 7. All PCIe connectors on a hashing board need to be connected to the PSU for the hashboard to operate. Do not connect more than one PSU to the same hashing board! 8. Separate power supply to control board: there is one additional 6pin PCIe connector on the IO board which must be connected to the PSU to get power. Be sure to power on the miner only after all the PCIE connectors are connected to power supply. I want to take a look at the history of the difficulty of - I know there's been times when I've been able to mine a nice little handful on nothing more than a laptop, and other times when that was nowhere near possible. I assume what happens is becomes popular has a lot of difficulty it's easy to buy a bunch of people jump on there and start doing it which race is the difficulty backup which makes those people wander away. But it would be interesting to see what that kind of power going 24 hours a day would produce

Does anyone have a pic of the d3, this is a stock L3+ from the looks of it. Or are they in the exact same case and set up?

the difficulty, currently fluctuate between 1.7m to 2,11m, depending on the hour of the day. Not everyone are mining 24 hours, it seems. i'm on Ibelink, currently mining. https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/dash-difficulty.html#3m

Welcome to crypto, most new miners that come out on the market are preorders. By the time they have them in stock to ship same day, profitability will be in the tubes. Sucks but thats the way it is, supply/demand.

Anyone remember if Bitmain sold a September batch for the APW3++? I know there was an August and October batch, but now it seems like everyone's scrambling to find PSUs before the D3 gets delivered this month.

probably people are confused because it might be not that clear if they purchased it from first batches or not
