Check out PIVX if you want a bitcoin based privacy coin, I think it's the best concept implemented to date with the zPiv accumulation (burning and revival of coins). Or Monero if you want something more established. DO will never come close to either one.

As a part-time observer, I thought DeepOnion had a huge amount of community support, thanks for showing me the other side.

It absolutely has, no doubt. One of the strongest community in crypto. Can only think about Steemit somewhat comparable, but they play in a higher league. Problem with DO is not the community but the shady business behind. It has technically none of the features it is advertising, there are no developers (ok they hired one for Android now), but graphic designers, and the only guy that pretends to be is crypto-rainbow. A chinese scammer. And 18 million of premined coins to be dumped. So short term money, based on community support, sure. It's a gamble as all Ponzi are. Long term? Absolutely not.

I cannot decypher which is which, some say it is a scam while some do say it is legit. As for my observation, some of my friends are actively doing it and they say that they are earning money through it.

It is Ponzi. You need to buy 100 Onions (that is ~300$) to participate in that weekly payout. Besides you need to do some marketing for them, minimum requirement is posting 5x here and 3x in their forum. This way they keep new lemmings coming in.
For these 300$ investment you get back 5%, it was 7% before. The rate is dropping already. In the meantime they dump their 18 million premined coins. Which is at 3$ a nice 54 million US$ for the anonymous scammers behind to walk away tax free.

Again please show the arguments that support yous statements, as long as you just claim this without any further information, you are the scamer type of person. I asked this so often in this thread! Please bring the facts on the table, but you never did!

You need to read before posting I just bought Onions to make some fast money. I did that before and all the lemmings pay for it. My money doubled, your money lost

MadMac claims something and if you ask for evidence, than his answer is you should read the thread. If you search within the thread you do not find anything that supports his statement.

``````````` EDIT: For deeper understanding I was considering accepting DeepOnion for several "above-ground, white-hat" projects totally unrelated to TOR, then was surprised by all the hate. `````````````````````` Original OP Here ```````````` Speak up and earn big rewards here!Is DeepOnion a highly toxic brand, or would you support projects which accept their tokens?https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2639736.0
DeepOnion ia somehow confusing to some people but I think it's not a scam or the project itself. Some people might using some tricks to scam investors but DeepOnion has a good price today actually. One of my friends has a good asset and anytime He could trade it to another coin and make a cash out. Seems legitimate to me, but I don't know why people keep on complaining.
Guys, do your homework. Would you buy a car without wheels? That's what DO is, a coin without any features they sell it for.
With such a low market cap even if theyre unloading the developers coins will easily get absorbed into the market anyway
You scammy little pieces of shit.. You dare fire off that cliche'd retort ? Yup.. XYZ scam coin that had 99999999999999999999 zillion coins premined by the dev "will be absorbed" * eventually..so it's ok The defense is just as stupid now as it was on every other shit coin years ago. Oh and who "absorbs" those coins ? LOSERS bag HODL'ing.. fer teh ROi'z. And by the way i agree ..do research. Every reason i say it's scammy came directly from the dev's mouth. So don't take my word for it.
Nah...don't be so negative, it is Xmas . We can suck some money out of the lemmings. I do that every now and then and DO has made me a couple of thousands. Easy. Just know when it is time to get out fast.
The coin in question here is designed to be scammy. It has nothing to do with forum users "feelings".
We need to be a bit more proactive here. It's a pretty predictable pattern we see. Ok, right now it got a bit disturbed by the market in general. But thing is prices go up end of the week before the marketing payment and go down afterwards when people dump their coins. Leaving alone the few idiots who want to become "founder".
So it is simple as volumes are now tradeable, buy cheap after the weekend and sell high before Friday, good and easy money to make from the lemmings.
If writing posts on a forum where you're gonna be writing posts anyway is too much work, then you can also opt out and not participate. Best part about it all is that it's optional
kek, voldemord. I suggested earlier to hire a hacker who finds out where rainbow lives. With that information and some minor threads, he won´t dump the coin for sure But for some reason, rainbow deleted that genius idea we all could have benefit from. Add in the DeepOnion forum. 110 ONION reward for FULL DOX of CRYPTO-RAINBOW If you are serious about that PM and I will do the job
