Because of the huge drop in the market there have been some doubt whether the Tethers are solvent. Where do they get the fiat to back the millions of virtual dollars?
With REAL at least we could see the real estate backing the currency. Would have made a good safe haven.
Moreover, Real Estate value always appreciates in the long run, so as its rental rate which is good for REAL investors. The value of Real Estate does not always appreciate. Conversely, it does not always depreciate either. Just like any market, there are highs and lows. Many factors go into the valuation of a property. i.e. Zoning, the surrounding area, crime rates, age, appraisals, but the most influential part of the properties value is, how much did the last house on the same street sell for. A seller that is in a rush to sell and will take any lowball offer he gets can be detrimental to the entire street. Real estate prices are influenced by a number of factors including supply and demand, local economies, and hyperinflation of the local currency it is valued in.

REAL estates can go up and down, but the speed in that flow is very low, selling or buying or renting a real estate is like placing an order in an exchange, how much time do you think it will take to be verified and to be completed successfully, because of that, it tends to go up more times that going down, and it takes TIME to change its price, os you could have money backed by it for 1 or 2 years without changing much, unless a big bubble occurs, that crash the real estate market, but even then it will go up again, although in a very slow way.

I think that due to the constant use of the currency in all Real operations the price will remain stable, since it will be buying followed by immediate sale in the same value. Only in the beginning will there be a great possibility of devaluation due to the large withdrawal of rewards, but in the long run the holders of Real tokens will have constant profits. I hope to be among them.

Yeah it will indeed be stable while backed not with btc or eth but real estate less price violatility If they ll sell not all tokens, what will be with unsold tokens? Tokens ll be burn?
afaik, they already have answered this several times, but no problem, here comes the one more time answer: yes, they will be burned to crisps Thats actually a great decision which should be followed for most of the ICO's. Dev's need not to be greedy in this matter and can sustain with a low value and bigger price. Come on, every project novadays burns the unsold tokens,literally almost all decent ICOs do that. Yes, but we have seen other examples too. I am not going to force this onto the developers as there are some coins which will be always in demand, their economy will be like that. Real raised 34800+ETH right now and I guess the investors didnt grab the opportunity when price dropped. Yeah some icos decide to keep unsold tokens for developers :/ its not fair for contributors im glad real dosnt chose that path

Kickico is a platform to launch different ICOs whereas REAL is a platform for only real estate biz. No ICO is happening on REAL platform. And you have to think about it like this: In KickIco you invest in different ICOs which are crowdfounded while in REAL you invest in different real estate projects. But, if you invest in Real estate projects you can also get money (eth) over time through earnings of the estate. This is something you don't get at KickIco because it has a different concept and focus. Exactly, In REAL you will get profit from your investments.

simplyfied: they buy an estate and maintain it (they rent it). Therefor they need to take "management fees" because they do the work. then they take a small percentage of the income as a profit for themselfes. they rest of the income is diveded through the investors

I do think however that they chose a good time to start, since the house prices in Spain, where they will buy properties first have just started rising again. So it's not like the housing market is at its peak like it was a few years ago.

You wont actually buy a property with real tokens. Their team will buy it and put it on their platform (tokenize it as they described it in whitepaper). Then you will chose in which real estate you will invest your tokens in and get dividends from it. Basically you can chose also to hold the coin itself and wait for it to rise but in long term investing will be probably more profitable.

And than, they can sell or lease estate. As I understand.

And than, they can sell or lease estate. As I understand. I think they do a bit of both. As they say in the white paper, they purchase real estate, but also "tailor-made rentals" and "real estate investment opportunities". So that could also mean development. In any case, you get profit from rental income and if they sell, you get a piece of the profit on the sale relative to your ownership percentage.

Hmm etherdelta isn't quite the exchange to do some trading on. Most people have hard time understanding how it works. I think it's a better idea to wait for the bigger exchanges to pick this up... Personally i'll just hold my tokens for a couple of years and see then.
