To think about whether there will be 100 years is a waste of time in my opinion. The development of the crypto world is always fast and innovative. There may be new developments that will replace crypto currencies as we know them today. In 2007 no one thought that there could be a decentralized currency without a central bank or central manager.

Will it still have full nodes and miners 100 years from now? Most likely yes, but one can never be sure. Will it still be the #1 cryptocurrency inSo yes, I believe that Bitcoin will survive in the most basic sense at least. terms of price and market cap? Maybe.

I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential
I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well
But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
I'm sure for now the value of bitcoin is very good and much in demand by all global community groups, and maybe bitcoin will last a long time, but for up to 100 years we just pray that bitcoin can last that long

In my opinion, I am not sure if bitcoin survive after 100 years, but bitcoin so far will getting strong, and I hope it will be survive because bitcoin is become most stronger.
Yes, guessing 100 years is too difficult, technological developments and world trends are also very fast changing, people used to think that Nokia can survive to be number one but now drown and have to start from scratch again. It depend on bitcoin performance that how it deliver its services to its users if bitcoin maintain its performance as it is going now so there is no doubt that bitcoin will be survive after 100 years in a very short time bitcoin make a space for it self and everyone they are going to respect bitcoin and as a result every one they are not only accepting bitcoin but some countries have made bitcoin legal because they love and support bitcoin.

Everything is in performance and delivering, and look what is happening now? Performance is low, fees are high, bitcoin have stronger price, but probably due so big interest network can`t handle it. Can bitcoin survive next 10 years? I love bitcoin but I`m trying to be open minded, competition is higher each day, and some other altcoins wish a peace of cake and they are working hard on that. I`m not saying that bitcoin should be threaten by shitcoins but there are some serious projects out there. Bitcoin now have popularity and masses behind but can bitcoin deliver what is promised on beginning, fast transactions, low fees and decentralization?

If the technical team behind the project makes the necessary changes with changing times then it would survive, that was the issue with Nokia too, they did not change with the technology and they were left behind because others came with better solution.

Nothing is certain when it comes to the future, especially if we are talking about what the world would be like a century from now. Many more technological breakthroughs and advancements would drastically change how we do our transactions and how to use our currencies. But if bitcoin is to become relevant, it must adopt to the changes and continue development so as to cater to a wider audience that keeps changing their preferences over time.

Bitcoin will always survive even for centuries to come. We may all gone, but bitcoin will still remain. Since bitcoin is already the mainstream, this will be pass over generations and that's what makes me believe that bitcoin will still remain in the centuries to come.

As long as there is a community using and mining Bitcoin, it will survive. Although I don't think it will stay as the top Crypto coin for long.

I'm sure that bitcoin can last up to 100 years from now, according to the analysis of many experts that bitcoin users are very loyal and strong so that makes the community can survive even bitcoin much banned.

I do not know if bitcoin will survive the next 100, but if up to 100 years later people are still interested in bitcoin, certainly bitcoin will continue to survive. Bitcoin should always keep up with the technology to survive.

100 years its really something a long term, but speaking of technologies that have ridden over the horizon and into the sunset. It always depends on the demand of market and how the people interact using the bitcoin. And of course a lot of changes and additional features for this will happen, that many people will encourage to use bitcoin all over the world.

I believe that anything can happen. A new currency could be introduced and perhaps physical currency would then fall. As for BTC, I believe that it potentially can stay for another 100 years, although, I think if it were to overtake physical currency, it'd then need to be dropped back down because damn, with the prediction of it hitting a million, that's a big price and ask for jut currency. I won't be around to see it, but hey, here's to the future!

Thinking of bitcon after 100 years could be hard. This may be a bit unpredictable. But for me nothing could be impossible if the miners keep on mining high values. These could continue the process and even produce and give larger amount of bitcoin to trade for.
