I didnt know SOMA was going to advertise different brands? What I know from the whitepaper is that it will be a peer-to-peer platform to sell and buy secondhand goods.

I also haven't seen anything about advertising. For now, they have other concerns, they have to get the platform running, and after that they can decide whether to advertise stuff or not. But my guess is, you probably can't do without advertising here.

In that case, I hope it will be from advertisement and not from some kind of fee after a transaction. I think users will not appreciate that..

I think it’s enough time for the ico, still more than 10 day before the end and its enough to raise a lot of money, look already more than 5 million, its awesome. And I think that in the last days of the ico, we will see a final rush of invest in soma.

5 million is great amount of money but I'm sure that they will collect even more

Why are people concerned though? Isnt the ETH fork mostly upgrades in the code? Its not a political disaster like bitcoin is

You are correct, Byzantium is not a politically contentious fork, but a mandatory, non-backwards compatible upgrade.

There were still risks though: a day or 2 ago a bug was found that could lead to DoS attacks, and in some situations upgrading to Byzantium is easier said than done.

Yes, it will not lead to an fail or something. They will grow on a organic, natural speed. Of course I want them to get enough, but actually I don't think they should reach the hard cap, which is in my eyes way too much eth.

The current number is more than enough i think. They can adjust their budget easily. And in some time they can grow organically. And with smaller market cap investors can gain more profit with it

So already gathered enough to start work. As for expanding to new markets, it is possible in the future. I wrote earlier that the network will be built from local segments, including, due to possible problems with the delivery of purchased goods. What can be an obstacle in the form of high prices, or some local laws and restrictions, when forwarding across borders.

The hard cap is simply, a hard maximum. Projects definitely don't need to have the max funding in order to viable. It seems like there will be enough funds for the project to continue development.

You are right. That's why some people will invest in a last minute, they want to make sure that the hard cap is far away and they get more worth for their investment
