Can someone confirm the price of ZEC ?
615$?? Side note. Nicehash is refunding all the lost money yeah we'll see. It shows zero balance in my wallet, i wasn't a login miner. if i get my BTC great if not oh well. I’m not holding my breath at all Here's what I found on their site: Now that the site is back online, you are free to lease, mine and make money once more. Our community is very important to us and given the loyalty of our users, we want to make sure that everyone is fully reimbursed after what happened. This has been under discussion since the day of the hack. We have now been able to reserve the funds required to restore balances from a group of international investors in our business. The exact date of reimbursement for old balances will be announced by January 31, 2018. We need this interim period to ensure all legal paperwork is processed correctly, so please be patient while we do this. Please also note that balances lower than 0.0001 BTC will be written off; apologies for any inconvenience. We have considered a number of ways to help our community to cover the stolen funds and we feel that this is the most appropriate way to ensure that everyone is back in business as soon as possible.

Problem with Nicehash "being back online" is that their mining servers seem to NOT be back online yet, or they changed the addresses and haven't posted the new ones anywhere that folks can find them yet.
So you're NOT actually free to lease etc 'cause there's no hashpower TO lease.
(edit) looks like they finally got the servers up around midnight - PACIFIC time, not "CET".

Actually, I was planning on *2* of my 92 mm - not 3. I think I DID say "one per heatsink". 120mm wouldn't FIT right, way too high.
I've done the "relube" thing too many times to count - and it never works for long as the seals are ALREADY shot by the time you do that. Short-term "buy time for a better option" at BEST, usually lucky to get a month of working fan out of relubing and if the bearing/shaft is too WORN you won't get a week if it works at all.
that is a 2x 120mm on a 390 sapphire tri x, you just have to raise it a little bit higher... i don't know about seals being "ALREADY shot" fans just snap out and snap back in, fixed the wiggling from an HIS rx 480 recently, a msi r9 390 - a fan sometimes not turning, when you spin it with your finger it doesn't spin smoothly..you can feel the lack of lubrication..a msi r9 290x twin frozr and a sapphire 280x dual x too..for me so far so good.. here is a 3x 92mm on a fury strix at 48c..I think you will need three BTW....for me I prefer 2x 120mm note: the riser on this fury strix and on that 390 is 4 years old ..maybe one per heat sink...depends on the size of the cards The whole reason that sleeve bearing fans fail is that the seals that seal the lube INTO the fan bearing fail and let the lube leak out. "snap out and snap back in" does not fix that issue, and tends to cause MORE damage to the seals. Any lube you add to a fan that has already had the seals start leaking isn't going to be around for long - at which point the fan fails AGAIN, usually in less than a month and rarely in 1-2 months. The pic you showed of the 120mm was making my point - a 120 sticks up too far, and on my current setup won't FIT. 92mm on the other hand is about the same height as the HS and will fit - and I already HAVE the 92 mm fans. I doubt I'd need 3 fans for anything - the 92mm NMB fans I have flow a LOT more air than the gimp fans card makers put on GPUs. They're not high-end Delta 38mm thick screamers, but they ARE good for a lot more airflow than the original Gigabyte fans are rated at - and the extra thickness isn't enough to be an issue. Even with only 2 of the 3 original fans working at ALL on the Gigabyte Windforce 3-fan cards, they stay fairly cool.

How do you like the Colorful vs the Onda? Those are nice pictures, I've had a hard time finding pictures of either board with the right angle and clarity to see how much space is between the GPUs. It looks like with the right kind of airflow either board would work for 8 GPUs (at least the less power/heat hungry ones).
Colorful pros: - Can use server PSU as all it needs is 8x 6-pin PCIe power
- Fan power headers in the perfect place
Colorful cons: - Slot spacing very tight
- Custom 4-pin to 4-pin CPU power cable
- Expensive DDR4 SODIMM ram
Onda pros: Onda cons: - Slot0 won't take a full length card
- Molex and Sata power connectors
- ATX power connector
- Fan headers not accessible with GPUs installed
- Expensive DDR4 SODIMM
The Onda V2.0 takes care of just about all the cons with V1.0. About the only con left is that you need a PICO if you want to use a server PSU since it retains the ATX power connector. Let me add some little Comments for Colorful vs the Onda 2.0, Colorful Pro Colorful have special cable to power SATA HD from the board (supplier sent both CPU and Sata cables) Colorful have 4 Fan ports Colorful Posted from first boot and ran 8 GPUs without touching the Bios. Colorful Cons Colorful only has two USB rear ports which is pain in initial quick setup Onda Cons Onda was pain for me for first boot , only booted on built in GPU with no GPUs plugged until bios settings changed Onda has only 2 Fan hearers

I'm thinking if leaking is a problem, I will look and try a good grease....grease are not good at leaking.(thinking about silicone grease at this time)

If the colorful said colorful and not k17 a knockoff.i would have ordered more. My k17 uses a 2400 watt delta. Nice. It is spaced tight . Since I run eight cards 7 1070tis and 1 1070 All are hybrids overheating is Not an issue.. Once I push this board to 1100 watts it smells. I suspect there is a limit in the traces of the pcb. I use the pass through this means all 1100 watts passes in the pcb. I could use the server and bypass the pcb pass through . In theory this would limit the pcb to 8 x 75 = 450 watts. I did play with the board and get 2 x 1080 tis power directly from the psu and 6 1070 tis powered with the pass through I pushed this to 2x200 + 6 x 125 = 1150 watts Since the 1080tis did not use the pass through in this setup the board did not smell. I think I can do 4 1080tis and 4 1070 tis using 4x200=800 and 4x125=500. That would be 1300 watts Most of that would come directly from the psu. In a perfect world I would use this board if it said colorful and not k17 knockoff. In stead I stuck with the onda as I feel it can run 7 cards easy.

wow Ahashpool is now full!!
Recent announcement from them: Announcement: (2017-12-21 08:22 UTC) Due to tremendous user growth and rapid rise in altcoin value, the pool's exchange capabilities are fully utilized and cannot handle further volume until we work with the Exchanges to increase out limits. However, Exchanges are on holiday during Christmas. We must make this hard decision to announce we are now NOT accepting any new users (BTC addresses), any new users that points any hashes at us will not be paid until our Exchange limits issues is resolved, which could take awhile. So, NO new users (BTC addresses) please.

Another question. I got a 2400W server psu along with a 750W psu for a 12GPU rig. When my rig dies for some reason, does not happen too often, but when it does, the server PSU keeps the GPU's running. Im looking for a way to get around this problem, any ideas?
How do you have the power to graphics cards wired? One of my rigs would do that if I had mistakenly wired riser power coming from one PSU and GPU PCI-E power coming from another one, to the same card. I only had one card powered by two separate power supplies, which I summarily corrected. Not sure if this is your case, but might be worth a shot looking at. I have my cards powerd by the same PSU ~ so its not this problem. Thanks anyways

Vosk's new video on the D8P board was nice to see. Seems pretty seemless to run 8 GPU, and I can only imagine doing risers for the extra 4 GPU to see if there are any quirks there. But I am super stoked i jumped on the first batch. first time for being a "first timer" lol; I normally test the waters first.
I Hope to finally get my board up online soon so I can have everything at home consolidated into one machine outside finally. Depending on how well it works, I may recommend them to friends to build using them and the frame that could be bought here on BCT in the future.
Phil; Ive been meaning to get back to you about the cpu... i'm going to wait for the market to settle a little then resend the pm with confirmation before I shoot =)

Supposedly my boards shipped from letine today. Hopefully I'll be able to run the 8 TI hybrids on the bottom and 4 1080 Ti's up top on risers. We'll see.

my MSI 390 and MSI 290X is about 2 months since i first lube it, my HIS 480 is about 3 months already..sapphire 280x is at least 6 months....
Sapphire is ALL ball bearing fans - have been as far back as I've been using them. I'm pretty sure MSI is all ball bearing fans as well. HIS - varies with the model. Ice-Q and "reference blower" models seem to all be ball bearing, "lesser" models usually are not.

As I never found a monero pool with both a REASONABLE payout level when mining to an exchange, AND good reliability, all my CPU miners are pointed at Nicehash - and working again. I left ONE of my A2 scrypt miners (the 88 Mhash model) with Nicehash as the default pool. I have one older machine with 960/950 cards that runs their software by default We'll see how it works out.

Nicehieeeeesh (those who've watched their video will get it) is back up and paying quite a big premium for Cryptonight currently (if whattomine is to be believed).
Wonder if I should point my AMD hash to their servers for a while.
Also, do I have to mine there using a brand new BTC address?

Ice-Q and "reference blower" models seem to all be ball bearing, "lesser" models usually are not. my HIS 480 is IceQ Roaring OC and IceQ OC...I haven't disassembled them to the point of getting the bushing off, I'll take a second look at them if they have any ball bearing in there when the next lubing is scheduled...but sapphire 280x dual x is clearly not ball bearing...since I'm not willing to disassemble it just to prove something, here is a link that will clear things and might help (you can see sapphire 280x dual x sleeve bearing being converted to ball bearing) http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/sleeve-to-dual-ball-bearing-fans/I can say thru experience that ball bearing will still get some rejuvenation with lubing because I've lube a ball bearing 92mm and a 120mm...they died after a month, the culprit is the black asphalt like material I used to cover the hole....when I did some investigating the oil dissolved some of the asphalt like material and it leeched inside the bearing, the fan being high speed means more damage.....but I also conclude that oil leeches inside ball bearings therefore it helps ball bearing too because I just put a little drop of oil and just return the sticker(no more using the asphalt like material to cover ball bearing 92mm and 120mm fans)r-these fans are already at least 6 months running with no problem. used that asphalt like material to cover my oiled lower speed 92mm fans in 2016, they are still fine, I can say some asphalt like material dissolved in there too but I think it just made the lube a little bit thicker which is not that damaging to sleeve bearing--acting more like a grease..a very light grease. in my opinion 6 months re lubing is okay...but if it takes a year to re lube, its great...it is like re lubing together with each general clean up of a card.

I am still unable to login, all is stuck at the point "need to change you password, check your mail" As far as I get your external wallet do not need to be changed. You internal (nicehash) wallet must be changed, as the old one holds "old coins" that may be reimbursed only in February or later.
