if someone gave me 1 bitcoin, I don't want to sell it I just keep holding until it will reach $50,000 worth of bitcoin then I sell it but only half of bitcoin and other half for enjoying myself.

If you have said one bitcoin gift a year and a half before, that wouldn't sound so incredible. Today, at current price one bitcoin is a fortune and I don't know anyone who will give such a gift. In some poor countries that is enough money to feed the whole family for a year or two or you could pay for school expences for few children. It's amazing how many things could be done with just one bitcoin. It sounds so little and in fact it's so much.

If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
if I get 1 bitcoin as a gift from someone I will invest it and hope to get more profit so the bitcoin that I get will continue to grow |

if I get 1 bitcoin as a gift from someone I will invest it and hope to get more profit so the bitcoin that I get will continue to grow Everyone will do the same because no one will be spending it now everyone has basic knowledge about bitcoin and if by fortunate I get the bitcoin as gift I will do same and hold it for many years because it is so worthy gift which price will increase time to time and when I will be in need of money then I will use bitcoin to manage my all the finances and sometime its not to use gift holding it forever will also bring trillions, |

I will hold it until 2020 at least. But by the way I will think to invest it in some perspective ICOs or just to gain a profit by investing in altcoins which are undervalued.

I think if we are super lucky we will get a bitcoin from someone because they will probably send the wrong address but I think the rate is very low, it is only my thought and imagination, now, the price of bitcoin is too high, every transaction around bitcoin will always have absolute caution, hard to be mistaken. However, if I fall into that super lucky case, I would use a bitcoin to invest and save, these are ways that can help me accumulate more bitcoin and optimize profits in the future, and I absolutely will not waste that great gift for personal spending and gambling, this is not the wise choice |

If it was a gift I will probably keep it until I can but 1 Tesla with it. This is if I have what I got now. Else I will probably trade .5 and keep the other .5 for the Tesla  I like to flip coins and I will be able to make the .5 I invest into lots of BTC in the long run, so this will be smart. If I got what I have now (so I have some amount to trade) I will keep the full 1 BTC and will not tuck it for the time needed... |

If it is mine i will hold it till the price gets double or triple of its price now. Or just hold it as an asset. i will buy mining tools for BTC.5 and the other .5 BTC for long term investment,maybe for a couple of years i will be 5x richer and i can payback the 1 BTC to the person who gave me the 1st BTC for gift |

well since it was a gift it is your choice to spend it or hold it, a wise man will hold it due to earning potential and it would such a waste to just spend it of course except you need a fiat right away or you want to invest the fiat you traded from your bitcoin.

its been a long time since i posted on this thread , well i am posting on this again jusst to say something  i am in the land of developing country and giving me 1 bitcoin ass a gift is giving me a house and lot to live for the rest of my life , so that one is huge right ? |

On the off chance that somebody will give me 1 Bitcoin as a blessing, I would change over some it into money. Perhaps 65% of it I will money it out to purchase different things and to put resources into land. Whatever is left of my bitcoin, I will simply hold it and enable it to expand it's esteem. There is a considerable measure of approaches to utilize bitcoin as a blessing from somebody. |

With the current price I'm not sure now if someone will give 1btc, the price now making us go crazy and we don't know where it will take us and we can really buy a lot with that amount. So now, is there someone will still give 1btc? I doubt that for this moment.
