CoinTracking not importing all my trades, especially for altcurrencies.

I purchased Pro because it looks like a promising tool. After entering the API feeds from Coinbase, GDax, and Bittrex, I noticed my account holdings were way off. It is showing holdings way higher than I actually have.

I started to do some manual searching through the trades. I noticed that pretty much all of my alt-currency trading on Bittrex is missing. I tried re-doing the import, but they were still missing. I own a little bit of like 10 different coins in Bittrex, but Cointracking is not showing any of them. What gives? Anyone know?

Exchange Request.  Please ADD Uphold.com to your exchanges with API. This is an interesting and useful exchange for fiat and crypto currencies globally. Thanks

How can one add/link the price of a coin? I added waves in my portfolio and it's showing 0 price. Can I do it manually or should I ask support to add the coin to their database?

Importing Bitcoin.com wallet

Hi. I just bought the Pro version and I've imported some transactions from a few exchanges and have just tried importing the bitcoin.com BTC wallet.  This wallet generates a new BTC address for every receive so I'm not sure which wallet address to receive from.  Do I need to import individually from every address I've ever used?  I tried that as a last resort but hit the 5 transaction limit in the Pro version.  As an amateur trader I don't really want to have to upgrade to the unlimited version just to get around this limit unless I have to.  Have I missed a simple way of doing this?

I also tried exporting the wallet to CSV and importing it but the fields are out of sync with what cointracking.info is expecting so every transaction failed.

Thank you
John.

Is there anyone here from CoinTracking, or is this just everyone posting their questions/problems and not receiving any answers?  Wink

hi,

I'm experiencing a few things, and have some questions for the pro version which i recently purchased:

1. I did API imports with various exchanges. The balances are showing up here: https://cointracking.info/import/balance/ , but nothing is showing up on my user dashboard, or coin balances.. Also, on the import/balance page, some of the APIs are blocked for me checking 2-3 times (i.e binance)

2. As the APIs are not showing, if I do a CSV import, will cointracking dedoup? or make duplicates between csv and API?

3. Can you add Bitgrail to the API imports?

I'm looking for someone experienced with cointracking.info Who I could pay to cleanup a few transactions on my account...  please reply if you are interested...

the items I need help with are:
1. crypto purchases made on one exchange and then transferred to another exchange
2. crypto sent to addresses to pay for services or buy things.

Bought the unlimited for a year to try it out. The software works decently and I like the auto importing very much. The layout is clean and well done. There are so many options I have not fully explored them all.

I do however have some critiques:

First and foremost the external wallet support (or lack thereof) is nearly unacceptable for such a high priced product. Many of the supported coins are dead products from 2014 and nearly none of the top coins are supported. NEO, DCR, XMR, these are not old products and are not supported, not even to mention new coins such as LUX, ETN, PIRL, etc. If you are like me and are stashing coins off exchange, you will be disappointed in this product.

Website UI darkmode color sceme is just dreadful, please take a look at blockfolio's dark mode.. it looks clean and tight.

And while mentioning blockfolio.. the mobile app could use some cleaning up as well. Blockfolio's app is very very nice and should be a model example for detailed and good looking.

I think you are correct.  I came here to post a question and to read other questions and answers.  I've looked back a few pages and it is just questions with no answers.  Starting to wonder if buying the Pro version was a mistake.

Are you guys going to be adding a selection for the nano s wallet?

Also, will there be a cloud-based mining tracking added at some point to track profits and losses?

I'm also receiving several errors while trying to import my coinbase account information, it keeps telling me there's no timestamp available? any help is appreciated, thank you.

Hi can someone help explain how to set up your API to have it automatically track and update?

For instance with Binance and GDAX?

I'm no expert at all as I only started using cointracking a few days ago.

Go to Enter Coins / Exchange API Imports / Binance API Import

The instructions are then on screen.

You need to get the 2 API keys from Binance (as the screen explains) then copy them to the 2 boxes.

Enable the email checkbox

Then click Save this Binance job

And that's it. The job should run immediately with the results at the right of the screen. It then runs at intervals to pick up all future Binance transactions.  You'll get an email for each set of transactions as they occur.

I bought the unlimited yearly plan am having fun looking through all the features that cointracking offers.  I do have a few complaints from the start.  As stated above we need support for new coins and ledger wallets too.  Also I noticed that api imports from exchanges are not the correct sales price that is stated on the exchange.  The sales price is close but not exactly the same on all exchanges that i have been testing on.  Usually its off by a few satochi. Is their a reason for this?

Hey there, on the pro version myself, and after my last API import from Bittrex, my BTC went to negatives though I saw some database error message. I deleted the last 29 days worth of Bittrex transactions, and waited ~60 minutes to reimport again....  got again an error message, and nothing got imported at all.

I'm pretty confused now going through my various trades, mining imports - it's turned into a convoluted mess - so now I'm not sure if it's "me" or it's something in the backend?

Thanks for any help!  Huh

Will there be some people who were whitelisted, contributed before the crowdfund shut down with success, but still will receive refund based on Ether’s volatility?

There has been someone here. There website lists this thread under support and they really need to do a better job. They would help their own cause with better documentation. The cost of this software is extremely high and it has been out for years, so no excuse. That said, it is holiday time in Germany ( I think they are in München.)

BTC = Black Swan.
BTC = Antifragile - "Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure, risk, and uncertainty. Robust is not the opposite of fragile.

Congrats for the great product!

One quick note: I just update my iPhone to the iOS 11.2.1 and since then Cointracking app stop working (remains stuck on the logo page).

I tried to delete it and reinstall it and now I can login but it doesn't update my data.

I guess this is related to the new iOS version; could you please check?
