Bitcoin is not gambling

Why would anyone think that Bitcoin is gambling? You can compare Bitcoin to a normal currency. Is exchanging your money to a different currency considered as gambling? Of course not! For me, investing in cryptocurrencies is a long term investment with a small risk if you know what you are doing. If we considered Bitcoin as gambling then stock exchanges should also be.

The meaning of gambling in bitcoin is due to its situation varies according to each country as some state it as illegal and some state it legal and if tomorrow every one declares it illegal then nothing can be done. So it is totally risky just like gambling.

Well you could say that, I mean I think its in the middle or something. If you would put it as simple as it is then it should go like this: You wanted to invest in a coin that currently has a high value exchange to fiats and will make you a lot of profit (that's not gambling), but you don't know when it will be a good time to sell, should you wait or should you just don't make any hesitation and just go buy or sell the coin (that's gambling). So basically, everything that makes you to 'decide' that's already gambling, money-wise or not, it is what it is.

i agree with your opinion about bitcoin is not gambling. you provide money to buy bitcoin, invest in btc and time. because btc will always rise. just be sure to patiently wait for the rising btc

Yes, but at the beginning what people think is that it's similar to gambling where knowing about bitcoin itself makes us risk without much efforts. Only when they get into it and starts experimenting understands about the true fact and the efforts required to multiply the earnings through bitcoin.

Perhaps what they meant when they use gamble is that you are gambling your money for investment whose return implies some risks. You are also gambling your time as well as your efforts in fulfilling tasks and work that might all end up useless. You are also paying for your internet. These are all considered gamble. Well, at least in its broad sense.

Yes I agree bitcoin is not gambling it’s simply the reward of work you have done. It’s simply a job through which people are getting amount of that work done. Bitcoin is digital currency and many countries are accepting now days. Therefore we can’t say that it is gambling it is simply the online job for peoples.

If you don't have any idea or knowledge about bitcoin and you will just put your money here in bitcoin without even studying what is bitcoin then that is when you are gambling in bitcoin because you just making greedy moves that doesn't have any support of knowledge or ideas that is from you. Sometimes I think it is gambling because it drops or rise so quickly,but sometimes I think bitcoin is a kind of currency,it can be investm not gambling .so i am confused too

Bitcoin is on how you treat it if you use it to gamble therefore we can call it as a gambling. Bitcoin for me is not a gambling but rather it is a source of income, we can use it for online transaction. Bitcoin is a big help for us.
