for me the one that made bitcoin really expensive these days was its usage in illega activities.numerous have asserted bitcoin during its earlier agle wouldn't have grown to be well-liked if not for using it in crimes.therefore is is absolutely true to say that bitcoin is indeed utilized in offences not only in the present day.but additionally previously and will be in the future.."t

Bruh, trust me. If only a couple of syndicates are using bitcoin for their transactions, the price will be wayyyy higher. You have no idea how much money is going on in illegal activities. I think mostly the price went this high because of the hype. Everyone wants to make money and the nature of cryptocurrencies is that if you invest earlier and you got it for a better deal than everyone else, then you're going to have a lot of money. I don't think it's even safe to say that criminals are using bitcoin today because of its anonymity feature. Sure it's only just a bunch of characters and a public ledger but they are going to be leaving a trail that can some day trace back to them when they use bitcoin. Real money is still way more anonymous than bitcoin since you have no way of knowing where the money that you are currently holding came from unlike bitcoins.

Remember that there are millions/billions of money circulating in the black market. So if they are using bitcoins, then how come the market cap is just this little? Honestly, we would all be rich people if large mafias moved into using bitcoins.

Bitcoins feature doesnt only give advantages it also has disadvantages. Its is advantageous for the people whos clear intention is to have a fast and easy peer-to-peer transaction with small amount or almost no fee transaction. As well as for those criminals where in they can pay illegal transactions with complete anonymity. Disadvantage is, how could we possibly track this kind of criminals or syndicate when everything we do with Bitcoin has no transparency. I dont know maybe theres a way of tracking down this people, but in my point of view its really hard.

I do not know the news of television that blames the bitcoin, can you tell how it's misused? Because I think it is very dangerous for newbies to join the world of cryptocurrency.

Really this is and was an inevitable thing. Bitcoin is a special case because it does not have a physical form, and while not entirely, untraceable. It paves way for alot of new ways to commit illegal actions such as tax evasion and drug exchange. Governments may be off-put by this fact, but in reality they shouldn't. A basic contrargument is that the US dollar can also be used to do both, it's just that it's a bit different with cryptocurrencies. This shouldn't surprise anyone really.

Not for now only, Bitcoin is being used in crimes right at the start just because of its secure so it's really hard to find out the owner of any transaction cause it's almost anonymous. Because of these cases there are a lot of bad guys are taking advatage of Bitcoin everyday to commit crime like money laundering, tax evasion or drug trafficking. IMO I think this is the reason why Bitcoin still not legalized worldwide and even banned in few countries.

Since it is decentralized, no one can control its daily transactions. It has a high potential of being a part of almost any kind of business but also in the illegal ones.

Yes it is and that is the darkest part of bitcoins. Ico's in china has been banned because of illegal transactions that has been made by some companies and it was a very bad idea to do some sort of things like this because everyone will be affected if government will ban bitcoins in their country.

in my opinion, bitcoin could be used in crime of terrorism, money laundering, criminal and so on.
and this crime is a cyber crime, because it is used in the internet world. Bitcoin can also be a game changer that may be for terrorism financing, because of its anonymity. but also bitcoin can be made for the means of investment fraud. Bitcoin is also a blockchain-based digital currency that is a haven for criminals to make transactions.

Bitcoins has regained its strong value, As of this posting, the value per 1 bitcoin is exactly 4786.59 US Dollar.   Soon we will see more ways people can squeeze the most out of bitcoins.   Since the advent of the internet to be profit oriented in the 90's, no one would possibly have imagined that the Internet would breed Facebook, Google, Uber, online streaming, etc. This is where we are with the Blockchain now. There exists a whole world of opportunities out there.

These opportunities have the unrighteous users of this cryptocurrencies to also used its advantage. We cannot deny for a fact that cyber crimes have been committed since the birth of the internet.  Once, stealing was done with having guns, now, robbers can easily hack bank accounts or counterfeit credit cards to their advantage.  Sooner, cryptocurrencies can be used to pay crimes such as services for creating counterfeit birth certificates and this is not far from happening.  Actually, the US has already cases on this matter.

Another is the crime of buying illegal-drug emporium that used Bitcoin as a medium of exchange, politicians and policymakers took notice. Criminals, it turns out, really like bitcoins, which can be exchanged for nefarious purposes on the "Dark Web," with complete anonymity and, it seems, impunity.

Although, there are some articles that i have read regarding criminals cannot hide behind bitcoins, still, there are difficulties tracing transactions using cryptocurrencies. That is why law enforcement agencies should have a to change their procedures to pursue criminals who make use of the latest technology to commit crimes. Let the law find a way to evolve to address new tech challenges. There is no reason to expect that law enforcement won’t be able to get a handle on this new cybercrime.
There's many crime that the bitcoin is within but the most of it i in the cybercrime. They used bitcoin to be part of the crimem they used it as a money. Yes, it is still online ahopping.but they buy illegal drugs, illegal firearms, illegal trafficking and others kind of illegal will gound in this not only that there a shop of body parts too. And the worst case, they have an show but torturing and they used bitcoin to watch it

But bitcoin transaction is transparent, you cannot avoid the law enforcement only because you use bitcoin for your transactions.

Since bitcoins are not really governed nor traced, it will eventually be used for illegal transactions and such. But it's not different from money. Money is used to fund crime mobs. But bitcoins are used now because it's more easy to use and manipulate since it only just needs the internet to be transafered from one wallet to another.

All the details of the Bitcoin transactions are stored in the Blockchain. If you spend sufficient amounts of time and effort, you may succeed in tracing the Bitcoin transactions back to a particular individual or a group of people. And this is how the cops in Denmark detained a few drug dealers. If you want to use a completely untraceable currency, then you need to use Monero or Zcash.

Crime uses Bitcoin to pay drugs, weapons, and for money laundering. The government can't control it, so they usually ban Bitcoin.

I concur with you about use of bitcoin as a vessel in doing shrewd and unlawful stuff. Extra to that there are reports where diverse ico these days works like a ponzi where a promoter guarantees financial specialists doubtful profits for counterfeit speculations toward the end speculators gets nothing. Be that as it may, I hope not all speculation organization do such unlawful things.

Yes bitcoin is already used in crime because a missconception of it's anonimity. Even silk road was shutted down, so we still cannot avoid the law enforcement.

It's back to each that Bitcoin is a freedom to get something.
We can only give good advice for using Bitcoin not for crime.

Of course btc is used for crime.

Here are some other things it is used for: play video games, buy stuff online, transfer wealth, pay for services, start up businesses, travel, buy pizza, and oh, did I forget to mention: invest!?

The wonder of blockchain technology is that it is decentralized, meaning, you can really use it however you want.
That insane price on btc? just a result of people using it and putting value on it.

Silk road? Of course people were using btc.
btc is really just a tool that can be used for anything you would like.
Kind of like that old Clue game, one of the weapons was a wrench.  Well, that's just a tool that can be used to fix things or to bash someone upside the head with.

BTC is fine, eventually governments will try to regulate it, but crime will just keep going on.

Crypto currency is by nature relatively anonymous and therefore these opportunities will undoubtedly be used for criminal purposes. However, the problem of this should not be done. Criminals use any technology and this is not a reason to prohibit them. This is a problem more law enforcement and, as far as I know, they are going to provide blockchein data for them, namely the data therein in the video and photo to use as evidence to disclose such crimes.
