Weekend is over and not a word from anyone. Not even to answer posted questions.
What bizarre behavior on the eve of a huge relaunch. I have no idea what to make of this but it's very disappointing.
Very Thomas-ish.

Hi, I just spent the past 3 days moving house. I've been doing bits and pieces of the website in between. You will have noticed changes over the past few days. I just have to finish them off tonight and tomorrow. Like you said. I work in the background Regards, Luke.

And just to be clear Luke, I wasn't so much referring to you. You've done so much work, it's incredible, and you've done it largely for free.
I was talking more about Thomas cause he's the original dev. He should at least check on his coin once per day. Not a lot to ask for.
Afterall, we all accepted him with open arms; something nobody would have done. Due to my high holdings I could have easily power tripped and said this is my coin, but that doesn't feel right, so I was happy to have him back in his proper spot, as the dev. I have respect for anyone who creates anything new and interesting, and to me, this coin is very interesting.
So it would be nice if Thomas would simply check his thread once per day so we can look like an active development team and not some flaky fly-by-night operation like so many other CrapCoins.

This is relevant as it makes iXcoin, a twin of BTC, an even more likely candidate for a replacement or competing coin against BTC.
Gox report suggests 744,000 BTC were "lost" due to people being forced to sell out of fear of losing all their coins. I've been saying this since last year - if the govt and banks don't own BTC already, they will engineer a way to so so before it reaches critical mass later this year.
I also said that they will get rid of more Bitcoin foundation board members and replace them with NSA, FED Puppets.
So here's a simple equation: What does 600,000 SilkRoad Bitcoins + 744,000 Mt Gox Bitcoins + 2 Board Seats (in just 30 days, and more coming very soon) equal?
It equals a complete and total Government [and Fed] Takeover of Bitcoin before this Xmas.
I've been saying this since last year and was called crazy. This has been engineered: Shrem, Karpeles, Mt Gox, etc, it's a Bitcoin Power Grab - the US must know China and Russia are secretly amassing Bitcoin for a Takeover.
So now iXcoin truly stands alone: A true Bitcoin twin with more coins out (more liquidity), a far larger and even distribution, no bad criminal history, no top executive corruption and now you can add: No suspicion of a government, Fed and Wall Street takeover.
If we had money for a media Blitz we could really do some Van Damage with this kind of information. Bitcoin is quickly starting to look like the Fiat it was supposed to replace: Damaged and Corrupt. Cause once the Fed owns enough board seats they will GUARANTEED alter the BTC Protocol and really do a number on it.
How many more Bitcoin Foundation seats does the Fed need to steal and extort before they have enough votes?
Expect more Bitcoin Foundation Board seats to be vacated in the next 30-60 days!

The way I see it, does Ixcoin really need to blitz the media? The media will blitz Ixcoin. 30 days, 60 days, 360 days? It's a matter of when not if. Makes no difference to me. Coins are a means to an end which is secure, non-replicable value storage. Something I laugh about every day now is ix. Trading y coin for z coin is a marketing technique which disenfranchises people from what the technology itself is worth. It's frequently re-stated how money is only worth what the market values it. Yet often overlooked is the irony in Bitcoin's total dominance of this new industry in light of that fact. Respect to the devs for having the gall to pull such a thing as IXC off. Direct. Fork. What's so hard to understand?

RobFord,
Excellent points. You're right, if IXC is what I've been saying, for 9 months now, then the media will come to us, and in a big way.
I can't wait, IXC is the easiest Bitcoin alternative sell on the planet and hardly anyone knows about it.

Well, if Bitcoin becomes corrupt, why would anyone want ix? Since they're twins, ixcoin could be easily corrupted too. IMO in this case, people would be more likely looking for some new, innovative 2nd-gen crypto-currencies to avoid corruption. btw, is ixcoin relaunch not happening now?

Bitcoin is not corrupt code-wise, it's corrupt people wise.
Guys like Shrem, Karpeles, Liberty Reserve, Silk Road, etc., have all given it a bad name - set up or not.
Bitcoin is a proven technology as is ixCoin, few coins on the planet can say this.
So iXcoin is Bitcoin without all the negatives so it's easy to sell it to the dumb masses who thought for 5 years that AOL was the Internet and an iPod was not an MP3 player.
iXcoin is the easiest alt coin to sell to the whole world out of any alt coin out there, even dogecoin or Litecoin, hands down, without a doubt, and I've been saying this from day 1, some 9 months ago.
New innovative coins is an oxymoron since it's all open source and I can copy and paste all your supposed "innovation" onto my already proven and ultra secure iXcoin code. And just like that, I have all your features, with a simple Copy and Paste while your new coin still needs years of real world testing and will most likely never have a 17 peta hash secure network.
I keep telling people - since day one, and I was not a techie, that these features are a joke and meaningless cause anybody can copy them and that when the bankers and Wall Street were gonna come in this year they would look and see exactly what I saw last year and it will not be easy to copy, paste and steal features (welcome to Open Source, where your hard work is mine in under 6 seconds...thank you very much, colored coins).
The massive relaunch is still happening but we are still waiting on the android wallets. Not sure how long that's gonna take but Luke can execute like a motha' fucka' - just look at the website he built in under 30 days. I have zero doubt Luke will come through in a big way with the necessary wallets and then I have a feeling he's a natural born marketeer which means he's gonna make it rain a media FireStorm.
I can't wait, I wish those wallets would be done sooner. But I guess with BTC so cheap maybe I'll have time to buy a few more IXC....cause you know, I don't have enough. Lol.

This forum is likely to die without a clear indication of the release dates of the various developments. Promising a new website and then fail to keep the promise is the best way to bring the currency down. Update: Congrats! You did it! Today IXC (on Cryptsy) touched 0.000062. and i've given up on trying to get the windows wallet working. sorry. deleted every ixcoin file and tried a reinstall, restarted the machine and still getting the same runtime errors with the wallet...
