After watching today's facebook stream, I feel like Electroneum has the potential of a promising future. In general, getting the coin into the masses (to scale of 10 of millions of users) is good for all crypto. Getting patents. Establishing a business. All good things for larger businesses to take their product/offering seriously. Maybe they don't have all the right technical people (devs) in place today, but that is an easy fix. The business plan and approach is what gives this project potential.
The introduction of ASIC miners doesn't really scare me either. To his point, look at bitcoin's value. Sure, ASIC will knock GPU miners out of the picture, but thinking big picture, that shouldn't matter. If you believe its worth mining, instead invest in the coins, and wait for the value to increase.

together we build to this coin as flies, fly higher. Integrated site for miners dig with their personal computers. This is also an advantage.

I'm pretty sure he meant 2300 H/s, not 2300 ETN/month.

May i know should i choose sgminer or XMR-STAK?
For CPU XMR Stak 2.2 w/o fee and XMRig 2.4.5 - the best choice i7 - 400 H/s So probably i5 or better for any kind of substantial hashrate? Also i would guess it is almost not worth it with an i5? I have never cpu mined before other than trying it out on verium, but whats the long term effect on the CPU? if you mined with an i7 for a year and then wanted to use it for general purpose computing would it have sub par performance?

Update: got a 6th RX 550, Elpida memory also, doing 2800 on 6 cards now. ( intensity 400, worksize 8 ) If i give it intensity 432 and memory up to 2000 it crashes after 20-24 hours and i have to reset it. Been running it with 2800 H/s , 400 intensity, worksize 8, 1100 core and 1950 memory for over a week with no crashes so far. ( all on Elpida memory )

I'm experimenting and can't figure this out. I get a CUDA error when I launch XMR STAK. What would cause that? Using the latest drivers.
Will this software mine with the CPU and the GPU concurrently and automatically or are two separate clients running at the same time required?
Error I receive is: [CUDA] Error gpu 0: <c:/xmr-stak/xmrstak/backend/nvidia/nvcc_code/cuda_extra.cu>:365

It use both. Are you using the latest version? Try lower threads in config.

It depends on CPU use only half of threads at max for mining.

You mean SGminer? Yes it support, but there is no official binary, so you have to build it.
