Just wanted to let everyone in here know about our dedicated staking hardware. Save electricity, and increase your coin's security, get them off of your home computer, and onto the StakeBox. Check it out at stakebox.com. Go ahead, get your long term support cred, buy the device meant to stake your coins for the long haul.

obviously there could be some "trust" issues here.

but can i ask what have you got it running on?

where can we find specs.

like if someone wants to wipe and load again?

overall though great idea !

I completely understand that there will be some initial trust issues, that was expected. Hopefully over time we will be able to earn the trust of the community by offering a safe, reliable product. It is based on the Raspberry Pi 2, beyond the specs of the Pi, what would you like to know? Only by interacting with the community can we work on developing a solid reputation and learn what other questions belong on the FAQ page, so thanks for asking.

thanks - no just that - OS is Ras?

are you Pre-loading and compiling clients?

you do this custom for the buyer?   or your OS is preset with all the clients you support?

Yes, OS is Raspbian. Correct again on the pre-loading and compiling, and each one is set up custom for each customer. After imaging the micro SD the web interface is set up for the desired coins, then just the wallets requested are thrown on, and set up in an auto-start script.

I really like what our peers are doing with: https://peerbox.me/

I do understand the interest in multi-coin stake wallets.

Downloaded the latest wallet 2.2.1 from the link provided in the OP https://github.com/Tranz5/bottlecaps/releases. Did a virustotal scan and got 19/57 hits!? WTF? https://www.virustotal.com/uk/file/40aa685c5024a90d29a9cdbce1cbea796ab7e0a5227f2d5b19cb441e6ae8805f/analysis/1434544835/

Any ideas? Looks like its full of trojans but this coin is 2 years old. They must be false positives. Can anyone verify that they are running this wallet without any problems. Thanks.

Downloaded 2.1 version from the same link and its clean. I think I'll use this one instead.

I use the 2.2.1 and scanning it didn't come up with anything (AVG).
I downloaded it again to see if it differs from my download in January and it doesn't so I think it's safe to use.

I get these same warning. I can't figure out why. I used the same libraries, the same machine, the same code base. With only a very small code changes between the 2 versions.

My guess is someone created a virus that using 2.2.1 to zombine mine, and it is now flagged. In any event both are perfectly safe, and both have IRC turned off.

2.1 works great so no issues there.

I will be releasing 2.2.2, with some minor updates, so perhaps that will not be flagged, we shall see.

CAPS are the currency for the #1 iOS game that just dethroned Candy Crush - Fallout Shelter.

Popularity may increase slightly between now and the release of Fallout 4.

With the excitement around the Fallout4 announcement and ties with CAPs...here is my plug once again to push for someone to add Hyperstake Themes support to CAPs.

Here are my current HYP wallet themes that would be much cooler in a CAPs wallet.   Grin

I´m looking for donations to add CAP:

http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/
Admin is presstab, Dev of Hyperstake(HYP)

I´m willing to donate 0.10BTC but still 0.20BTC to go.

I think it would be a really nice to have Bottlecaps listed there also.

"Yobit pump alert software" Link in my signature!

Guys, Caps and Hobonickels are the BEST coins to invest in right now BAR NONE. I hold over 75 different currencys new and old. The BEST thing about caps is the dev. He is very trustworthy, and your coins are safe. If your looking for the most cutting edge technology, and a fast buck , it is not here. If your looking for high interest, and without drama and fud, and without wory, and the SAFEST coin to invest in, HOBO and CAPS is it. I hold six figure coin amounts of both and could not be happier! I am an expert in crypto, and do it full time. See my website below.

Vegas

www.bitcoinlasvegas.net

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

hey mate thanks for the quick replies already got some questions on v/Falloutcaps

https://voat.co/v/FalloutCaps/comments/130252

- one was just on the Checkpoint error ( i explained and about the update)

other i'm 99% on but not 100% is :

in the non GUI client version you don't have to command line order to start staking right?

The guys is asking, you just have to have the Caps in and wait the 15 days right?

Regards.

HA I gotta admit that is pretty good -

this is why i love Crypto , because all the good things can be added to the best most economically viable Crypto.

I.e if Caps got this it would be great.

just some Q:

Is this still C++ based i.e is everything else basically the same or does this require a "Deal breaking" (virus ridden) (NSA backdoored)  change to "Java" or something like that?

experts please explain does open state of a CAP wallet any positive effect
on coins weight growth (as it does for netcoin), or only block count is important ?

Block size and Time impact weight. I generally leave my wallet running all the time and I open it for stake/mint from the console as needed with [walletpassphrase] [password] [time in seconds]

It's CAP(s) Birthday: Two years
