For a long time I have been trading on Cryptsy but I have stopped doing so because of their continuing incompetence withdrawing BTC.

I just want to say that I switched to Cryptopia because they trade HBN as well as CAP. As long as we don't have a bigger exchange, I would like to invite everyone who is encountering the same problems to give it a try.

The issues with Cryptsy are annoying but the upside is BitJohn is free to return to BottleCaps...

BottleCaps for Mullick and Hobonikels for Horus and many others.
Bottlecaps if you look at it was about the fairest release coin ever that was its intention it was made in chat but the point was all the scammy shit out there make one that had best of all pieces and release it the right way. Yes one of the only coins I actually wanted to contribute to.

Hello all. I recently received a note from dreamwatcher. The yearly fee for HBN and CAP on CCE has come due. The fee to renew both for the year is $440.  For just 1 it is 275.

Is this something we want to renew as a community?  If so I need your help. I can not cover the cost myself. I need to raise at least $350 from the community and I will cover the rest.

Due date is the 1st of the year.

If neither gets enough, the funds maybe combined to give at least 1 of them renewal, HBN will be first. If the combined total is not enough, funds will be returned.  We'll cross that bridge if it comes to it.

I think Presstab's block explorer is leaps and bounds better than any other and would rather put effort into raising funding to keep CAPs on there (and get HBN added*).  I have fired back up some GPUs to try and mine enough BTC to cover CAPs next monthly payment but not yet actually made the payment.

*HBN is apparently a bit more resource intensive presstab mentioned HBN would require a $30 setup fee and $10/month fee; 6month minimum.

I agree, i find myself mostly looking at Presstabs explorer and not so much CCE anymore.
Combined with the fact that for less than $270,- he is willing to host both CAP and HBN for one year I would suggest this option as my favorite.

Hello all. I have spoke with PressTab, and the good news is HBN will be getting added to the explorer.  We also need to ensure CAPs remains paid up for a year.

So far we have collected only 12 cents.  We need approx $80 for the year. or around .2 btc worth.

I will cover some myself as stated, once we get closer.  If you do not want to donate no problem. I also have some CAPs for sale on Cryptopia. 1/2 of whatever is sold of my blocks will go towards the explorer.

Indeed cryptsy is starting to become an issue and a problem, not only have I recently encountered issues whilst trying to withdraw BTC but a quick scroll down through the balances page shows around 50% of cryptsy altcoin wallets are in maintenance mode some of which I know have been that way for months now.

Cryptsy used to be the pinnacle of exchanges and the one everyone wanted their coin to be on, with bittrex a close second but both in my opinion got to big for their own good and thought they were GOD and didnt give a damn about us the end user, and now look both are dying.

Anyway rant over lol

Looks like CAP was put on the list of coins without accurate coin information on coinmarketcap because they still had the old explorer as their API source. I sent a message to get it moved over to the cap.presstab.pw api so hopefully it will get back to normal on CMC.

cryptsy was hacked. In retrospect the only solution for cryptsy and other exchanges in the future is one of two options:
1. Get insurance. If that is even possible to do.. not sure if exchanges can be insured.
2. The community must support the exchange in the exact same way as in the movie Its a Wonderful Life.
The exchange could return the money once they have recovered. Once people panic and take all their money out the exchange is doomed. We panicked. The next time this happens the exchange should tell it like it is and ask the people not to panic. Now no one will get the money back.

We should not be so mad at Big Vern we should be angry at the hacker. The hacker is the one that should be brought to justice.

See bottlecaps has disappeared from coinmarketcap. Any news when we are going to see it back again on the ranking list

Also see that we only have bottle traded on cryptopia. Any chance that we can get to have it listed on other leading exchanges will certainly help. Lets setup a donation address in the next cap client update so that we can always use funds to develop cap further. Whichever exchanges are going to list cap, then we need to all support the initiative to do so. Lets start this now. We all can see what has happened to cap after the cryptsy crash. It certainly is a lesson that relying on one exchange to do all bulk of trades is just unhealthy if the support of cap is to grow. I am in it and I will be donating and lobbying for Cap to get listed on other exchanges.
