Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

experts please explain does open state of a CAP wallet any positive effect
on coins weight growth (as it does for netcoin), or only block count is important ?

Block size and Time impact weight. I generally leave my wallet running all the time and I open it for stake/mint from the console as needed with [walletpassphrase] [password] [time in seconds]

It's CAP(s) Birthday: Two years

Genesis Block Created   Sunday, June 23, 2013 22:09:56 GMT

First never ever use walletpassphrase command as keyloggers use screenshots. Use the unlock for POS command. You MUST use the unlock for pos command to get stake coins. Just leave wallet open snd unlocked 24/7

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

I´m looking for donations to add CAP:

http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/
Admin is presstab, Dev of Hyperstake(HYP)

I´m willing to donate 0.10BTC but still 0.20BTC to go.

I think it would be a really nice to have Bottlecaps listed there also.

I'll chip in 0.10 btc if anyone else does the same we could have another cool explorer for CAP. Is it a lifetime subscription for 0.20btc or annual?

I have been able to migrate to more cost efficient servers in the last few days(a pain in the ass but worth it). I am now able to lower prices to around 0.2 btc for 6 months. If you guys are still interested, just let me know and I will get my server syncing CAP asap.

and when this cryptogift find the time to release an update i wonder ?

Tranz does not operate the same way as other devs. Other devs throw out updates as fast as they can to keep their investors busy while they rob them. I know Tranz will update when the time is right. He just finished updating his other coin hobonickels. If you invest in the tranz coins it just works different, BUT its the safest coins out there. Bar none!

After seeing all the other PoS "Promise Ponzi's" implode across the fintech/blockchain space it's truly comforting to watch BottleCap(s) compound in wallet. Tranz's steady hand on this Blockchain gives me immeasurable peace of mind.

Ive been in Crypto for over two years as a full time consultant and have traded every coin out there. I ALWAYS tell my customers to buy as many bottlecaps and hobnonickels as possible. All other devs should use as a model.
Im not speaking of the coin, although its excellent, Im speaking of the integrity of the dev. Ive never felt so safe in crypto. Tranz is a VERY busy person. I wish he would make more coins, but he is not driven by greed or money. The good news for him, is peolpe are sick of the bullshit , and are flocking in droves for saftey. Both Caps and Hobonickels have skyrocketed in price in the last week. Also Tranz doesnt having dazzling graphics or a roadmap full of lies. He never had needed to.

Downloaded the latest wallet 2.2.1 from the link provided in the OP https://github.com/Tranz5/bottlecaps/releases. Did a virustotal scan and got 19/57 hits!? WTF? https://www.virustotal.com/uk/file/40aa685c5024a90d29a9cdbce1cbea796ab7e0a5227f2d5b19cb441e6ae8805f/analysis/1434544835/

Any ideas? Looks like its full of trojans but this coin is 2 years old. They must be false positives. Can anyone verify that they are running this wallet without any problems. Thanks.

Downloaded 2.1 version from the same link and its clean. I think I'll use this one instead.

I get these same warning. I can't figure out why. I used the same libraries, the same machine, the same code base. With only a very small code changes between the 2 versions.

My guess is someone created a virus that using 2.2.1 to zombine mine, and it is now flagged. In any event both are perfectly safe, and both have IRC turned off.

2.1 works great so no issues there.

I will be releasing 2.2.2, with some minor updates, so perhaps that will not be flagged, we shall see.

Version 2.2.2.0 is now ready. https://github.com/Tranz5/bottlecaps/releases This will remove the checkpoint warning.  So far now virus warnings here, but please do let me know if you get any.

I know many of you want themes. I will work on this for my next update.

Fallout 4 is premiering today at 7pm Pacific Time.  The release date has not been set.
http://www.twitch.tv/bethesda

The Official YouTube Trailer received over 10 million views within 4 days of being posted, and has tens of thousands of comments.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GE2BkLqMef4

There is bound to be a lot of speculation on CAP before the game release in several months, and the pumpers will surely be out to play.

It's up to you guys right now reading this to decide if you want to use this opportunity to vastly expand the adoption of this coin, and create some valid uses.

Have fun y'all!

Game release date Nov-10-2015.

I will get the daemon syncing while you guys organize the funds. Some of these long chains can take some time to sync (even with bootstraps).

BTW does anyone have a link to a bootstrap? if not can someone upload a bootstrap somewhere? All you need to do is rename your blk0001.dat to bootstrap.dat . Thanks!

Hi there!
Maybe someone can help me: I downloaded the wallet v2.2.2.0 for Windows but it won't connect to the network...
I tried to add the official nodes both with .conf file and manually, I also tried on a different computer but still nothing.
My other wallets are working fine and there's no software blocking CAP wallet as far as I know.
Thanks in advance for any hint! Smiley
