any idea why even running bminer.exe --help does nothing at all?
I'm on windows 10 insider Preview. Currently using HSRMiner with no issues on nicehash.
Even the sample command from the site:
bminer -uri stratum://1DQ4bZpFTDiSNk2CWLEFWK9K96rBFP2Hv@equihash.usa.nicehash.com:3357
does nothing.
Any help would be appreciated

try -help instead, alternately one page back is a couple lines you can copy paste to get you the list of commands.

Reporting higher shares for sure, but pool side seems to be the same as zm.

My GTX 1060 jumped from 330 Sol/s to 340 Sol/s after updating... Definitely worth.
How did you achieve that speed, my 1060 only does 270~315 with a lot of power increase as it goes higher. pls show me how and thanks I have my Core Clock on +162 (can go up to +200 and higher but I want it to live longer) and the Memory Clock on +350... Power Limit at 90%, but even at 80% it only goes slightly below 340 Sol/s. It's a Palit GTX 1060 JetStream (6 GB). I could probably be more efficient power wise but I don't have to pay for electricity at the moment, anyways. (And I'm not doing it big time either, although my goal is to buy another GPU from it so I can even mine while gaming )

I'm still getting the best results with this miner with my 1070 Ti's. My pool reports an average of 6.23 ksol/s for my 12x 1070 Ti's, so that's about 519 Sol/s per card @66% Power Limit and 4,37 Sol/W. The miner reports 510 - 525 Sol/s, so that's just about right. Although the hashrate varies a bit, the average is always above 6ksol/s, which is 500 sol/s per card, which would be the minimum 510 sol/s -2% devfee. Also I have zero stability issues. Running my cards at +200 core / +600 memory.

Thought I would post some of my findings here. Have been using EWBF miner for some time, using 4x EVGA 1070Ti's. Settings are 63% power limit, gpu +200, mem +700, fans on 50%. With EWBF and the --fee 0.1 option on Zclassic, I get around 2030 Sol/s. Temps are around 55C. Same settings on DSTM, 2071 Sol/s, which is around 4.6 Sol/W Same settings on Bminer, 2140 Sol/s. So this is indeed the fastest. However, I get an error after about an hour of mining (sometimes shorter, other times it takes longer). It says: Get error: The semaphore timeout period has expired, resseting in 5 seconds. Connection failed due to External host closed the connection It then reconnects and starts mining again, however the results are not accepted and accepted shares stay the same. This has happened a few times now, so I reverted back to DSTM. Any ideas on this? Error from my side, does it have something to do with the pool (miningspeed), or is it a Bminer issue (as it doesn't happen with DSTM or EWBF)? Sounds like a bug in bminer. Will look into it.

I tried a 24 hour test with 12x 1070's and found the following.
1) The software reported hashrate is considerably higher than EWBF, around 500 sols faster with same clock/power settings, that is combined over 12 gpu's.
2) The reported hashrate seems to be higher as well, however, the accepted shares seems exactly the same on Mining Pool Hub.
3) Bminer seems to have more rejected shares, not a lot, usually below 1% but at times it was higher. Running fairly moderate O/C settings, rig 1 is +75 core / +400 mem, rig 2 is +150 core / +500 mem, about the same amount of rejected shares for each rig. Also tried with stock settings and had about the same amount of rejected shares.
So I'm a bit confused, I'm going to try again to compare over a longer period, but for now I'm back to EWBF. Btw, Devfee was enabled for both miners during test.
1. Just curious what pool are you using? 2. Comparing the number of accepted shares is not a reliable metric as shares with different difficulties have vastly different values. For example, a share that is 1000x more difficult than the other actually worth 1000x more when the pool calculates the contributions. In fact, the pool adjusts the difficulties so that the miner won't bombard the pool too hard. 3. It is a known issue although the rejected shares are inevitable due to how the mining pool works. Will work on getting a more meaningful error message.

feature request: Can you make it configurable on what GPU's to start mining? I'm thinking about mining zencash with hynix cards and eth with samsung cards in 1 rig so beeing able to start mining on gpu 0 and 1 for instance would be sweet

I actually switched back to DTSM now...
The pool shows me the same hashrate, so this guy is either lying about the hashrate or he is taking more dev fee than he says he does.
Either way pretty scammy.
Plus, he can't even get e-mail adresses working properly.

I want to give bminer a chance despite everything so I just did another 24 hour test and while bminer 5.2.0 claims it is 2.7% faster than dstm (1875 vs. 1825), the average hashrate at the pool came in slightly lower (1835 vs. 1850). Since performance is nearly the same other metrics have to be considered such as the console output and stability. In this case, stability was the same for both, with less than 1% rejected shares and no crashes. I prefer some things about dstm's console output - reporting each GPU temperature, in particular - but I like bminer's running total of accepted vs. rejected shares. Both of these miners would benefit greatly from some Claymore-style color coding, however. I won't go so far as to say bminer's author is lying or scammy, but I have said that I don't think he deserves to collect a 2% devfee while the program is still in alpha/beta stage. Yes, that is the same devfee as dstm, the best performing/most popular Equihash miner, but bminer is neither the best performing nor most popular.

Another fantastically buggy miner. It doesn't even recognize it's own -watchdog option. Just like EWBF, it won't exit when it needs to. Back to DSTM. Too bad it kills the rig after hours and hours.
