Honestly the team needs to consider the system they are working on this project. this should be done when considering the currency coin and the total supply is not that much with a target to be achieved.

Vitalik is only a investor and a fan, not more ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) We don't know if he invested, don't we? And you are saying it like it's the most normal thing in the world for a project to have him as a fan .... in fact it does not matter if is an investor or a simple fan of the project with those photos he has brought a lot of publicity and maybe even a bit of prestige and more confidence in investors... Currently we don't know if he has invested als private investor in eHealth but he has made big donations to SENS before, so the chances are good. Anyways he is showing his interest in the whole, not just for SENS or just for eHealth, but both projects. So even if he is not investing in eHealth right now, he gives some credit to it.

graphite or whatever it is, it would be good to move away from ethereum. I don't want my health data stuck with ethereum network congestion and crypto cats

I think of it also, Ethereum network is becoming more congested so naturally it will begin to exhibit unexpected problems. Imho. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Imho. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I think ETH has a good position in the coinmarket currently. The blockchain is very good and no vulnerabilities have been discovered yet. I think its a perfect base for a good fork. Unlike IOTA which already has hash collisions. Sure there will be the machine power in the future to also create collisions with ETH but we are very far from that kind of machine power.

I'm hoping this will happen as well. i'm sick of seeing the network so congested.

I don't see a problem in the ETH Blockchain at current state if it fits for their needs. Ethereum is getting regular updates and they develop and improve the blockchain constantly, so it should be fine. If needed, they always could make a swap later but I don't think this is needed at current state.

The alternative is to have an independent and small blockchain that would have different problems.

The alternative is to have an independent and small blockchain that would have different problems. And in addition it wouldn't be market proof. Especially for developers that dont have the mindset for a 'public' release work their code as they will and dont consider security breaches, possible backdoors, stuff like that. Its better to improve an existing system until you get to a point where you reach physical limits or have to rework your basics. Its not an easy process and in the worst case your project will fail due to security reasons. Thats not something you want for your coin.

Imo, maybe they could utilize another blockchain that is not congested like Ethereum, but I must admire Ethereum is now becoming more robust thank to its dedicated developers. ETH is the number two from all cryptocurrencies, so we can expect, that the developers will care about ETH. I would also avoid to make an own blockchain at this moment, there are many pitfalls with selfmade blockchains, like exploits.

Yah you're mate, whether its ETH blockchain or other, the important thing is that the project can produce a high quality, effectiveness and profitability to the investors. Surely many are awaits on this very ambitious project that requires the combined skills of experts in many fields. Better health is central to human happiness and well-being.

I don't think it's a good idea for a ETH project to make their own blockchain. it's expensive and takes to much time. ETH is good enough.
