you truly are sad pathetic paranoid people... im kinda at the point where i really do hope all the legal action fails so they can drill your buttholes, ill just sit and laugh and get my last refund, while you guys still freak out thinking everyone works for hashfast, i just want my money, liquidating them is not the best route on that... im sorry if you can't fathom that...

Stick around for a couple years and you'll be part of the "pathetic paranoid people".  You seem to think that all of the people in this thread started out with this attitude from the onset.
Being broken requires that you, at one point, were functional...

"You must have missed the memo: nobody received a refund so far and nobody is getting any kind of refund soon. Good luck with your dream of a refund in USD or BTC.

They´ll offer you useless chips, perhaps you want those instead of your pipe dream?"

kinda obvious you missed that memo that some people, like myself have received refunds, my batch 1 refund was received, im waiting on my batch 4...

If you didn't understand the law about chapter 7 with involuntary petitions, i would suggest looking into it... especially the rules governing it, and what creditors can be liable for.

Learn to forum, noob.

Prove it.

They stopped the payment on my batch 1 refund.  Even if you receive a check, don't count on it clearing.

When did you ask for the refund?
When was the refund sent?
Was that a timely payment?

I have gotten one of my major refunds back at least... i can live with that.

Just curious, when did you ask for the refund? Did you sign their refund agreement form? I requested a refund 3 months ago and haven't seen shit. They will not answer any of my emails either.
Beginning of Feb so a little over 3 months for my batch 1 order. Batch 4 order hasn't been refunded, and i don't expect to see it.

@cevidad, thanks for that warm welcome, im sure you will see much more of me here.

requested jan, no response til beginning of feb, waiting until end of feb, so within 30 days... im still not sure if thats considered timely... but it worked, one thing i can say is my batch 4 definitely is no where near timely, i kinda wish they would have refunded both at the same time. i have kinda lost hope on the batch 4 refund, unless of course this petition falls through, then i might have a chance, a very small one... and thats trusting that hashfast has the will to go after them, and the money. maybe thats why they are holding off on refunds, legal fees?

liquidating them is not the best route on that
Sleeping on their chips another 6 months as they did during the last 6 certainly is.

Btw, I would really appreciate to be corrected when I make grammatical mistakes. I'm still learning.
A little humility, there may be some hope for you yet!
I normally don't bash people so hard, but when they come at you like you did, defense takes over, ill try to be a little more sensitive, and not a huge ass...

as far as hashfast goes... they have alot of chips they are supposedly sitting on(to be honest, i bet they get rid of the inventory as its an LLC... i mean if i was going to be a shady POS... thats how i would go about it, as i said earlier, their slogan has turned into a copy of Alistar from league... "You can't milk those") forcing their hand probably made them partner with pepper as well. dump everything there and call it good, leaving them with nothing but a husk, and boning everyone.  (i mean if you know anything about eduardo... you know he hasn't always been on the level)
thats only one scenario i see from the petition, there are 5 solid scenarios i see happening right now with the petition. 4 out of 5 screws everyone... hard.
and that one that might benefit some people will not benefit everyone. there are some other ones that have like a 2% chance of succeeding.... but i don't consider them solid scenarios. im just going to see how it plays out.

Excuse me, but I don't think the bankruptcy petition screws anyone, except hopefully the assholes in charge at Hashfast, who have already screwed us.

You are excused, not understanding what you are actually getting into fully is one of the bad things about going in gungho and half-cocked, sometimes you just don't have time to understand whats going on. Thats what i feel is happening here. there is an overwhelming possiblity that the petition will do nothing except eliminate the possiblity of refunds...

Actually, if you read, we are in agreement... they will continue to probably screw everyone and the petition opened that door wide.

Wow.  I thought it might kill them, but still kind of shocking that it apparently did, since they held out against being decent to their customers for so long. Their wall of BS and generalized assholery seemed to be so impenetrable.

Here's to hoping new management gets in there fast to salvage what can be salvaged (although I assume it's a chapter 11 filing in the works) and, maybe most importantly, that in this process the truth comes out - be it malice, incompetence, or some combination thereof.

PS:  Can't wait for Inaba to comment...  BFL ought to be shitting bricks now.

Liars gonna lie.
Sure, but what is the lie?

And btw, @armyof1ne, if you really think that a LLC is gonna protect their persons against personal liabilities, you should change lawyer.

We may find out soon...or we may never know. I find it difficult to believe that they blew through all the funds they've received while shipping so little equipment. I have a sierra, it's a solid and refined product. If they hadn't deceived me into dramatically overpaying I'd be delighted with the purchase. Because they've lied so frequently in the past, I don't find anything they say credible, but they're plainly capable of producing a quality mining product. As they've proven quite willing to screw over their customers at every turn it's hardly a stretch to imagine they were producing functional miners quite some while back and have been mining with them since.

Every pre-order mining company seems to use pre-order sales as a funding mechanism for their own mining farms, I doubt scamfast is any different in this regard.

I thought Amy Abascal was the NEW management.  At this point I've given up on getting anything from them. If I join the petition I'll get about $100 maybe if that so what's the use at this point?
