I think HODL is good but sometimes we need to change our assets to the most promising. The situation at the crypto market changes every hour and we must react very fast and swift.

Holding is for me the only way. The market is to volatile to anticipate on it with success for me.

Before holding any coin, always have a basic knowledge of their applications. Also their roadmap to know when strategically any new thing will be happening and how active the dev team are.

We are not in position wherein we can detect if the token we are holding will going to pump higher or it will dump. We have to accept the fact that only the time can tell. If you faith on the token that you are holding, then keep holding until you are satisfied with the value that you can get. In my case, If I already sell the token, it doesn't matter if the value will dump or pump because there is nothing else that I can do since I already sell the said token.

Maybe it is, all about Regret! Every time when I hope then I lose hope again. The market is too volatile, So,  I think the hold is not good anymore. One day we said that hold means gold. I will not hold anymore. It's enough for me  Sad

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.
we have all made such huge mistakes, in the short term we feel bad but as time goes on we get used to situations and gradually forget everything. Its normal, we loose in a day gain in another, once we loose and gain, its normal, just like a game. We just have to try our maximum best to restrain ourselves from such situations in the future.

Holding is the safest way for earning profit in Crypto. But it has the less profit you could ever gain and probably the coin that you've chosen will not even increase its value over time. Hence there is no perfect strategy in earning profit in Crypto but as long as you know how the market works even the market bleeds you could still earn much more.

In my opinion it is natural to have it because in trade you need to do it but when you hold it there is a good lesson so it will not happen again, but if you are in bitcoin you should continue to ensure faster income and as long as you do not lose money, do not regret losing profit. Better to be safe than sorry

i think its normal for most of people here. Everyone might sell too early when they first got their coins. Take it as a lesson for you to grow more

If your portfolio has reliable and stable coins, with a good idea and a strong team, then just keep these coins for a long time. Really good projects will bring good profits through time.

You need to keep your funds and not sell them, otherwise you will just get off this train and do not go into it anymore, because only today people have such an opportunity to buy altcoins or even bitcoins at such a very cheap price.

hold is a good action and you can control the price of the coin. where now hold coins can serve as one way to wait for the coin to reach the highest price and sell the coins at the right time.

many peoples sold their coins just before at december 2017. they must be regret because after they sell, the price of crypto gone far.
Patience is the key here. with patience, you can take your time to analyze and wait for the price to increased significantly.

Anyone selling in at this time will be kicking themselves in a few months. This is a natural and predicted downturn in the market; from which we will see greater returns than 12/2017 if we hold until crypto winter is over

If you decide to hold, you should do a thorough research of the coin you are going to hold.
We should be aware that most of the altcoins will be worth nothing in the end.

I agree with you that HODL is the best strategy in cryptocurrency.
I used to trade frequently and ended with below average profit.

Maybe everyone is experiencing it, even regret also happens when we have a chance but do not take it. But everyone has to make a decision, and it could be wrong or right. and learning from the past is the best way to survive in this field.
