HODL or REGRET!!!

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.

i think this is a critical point for BTC, i do not expect to see BTC below 6000$ and if it reach below 6000$ it will not be stable on that point . there are so many reasons for this but. i can not go to this risk and i will hold

There is a chance it will go down below due to the fact that FUD is everywhere and still crypto is young and whales has the power to manipulate
the price. I know at this time a lot of people are already panic, but it's not a good decision, we should continue to believe to hodl.

It's natural to have it because it's in the trade you need to do. but if you hold it there is a good lesson will not happen again, but if you are in bitcoin you have to keep earning faster and as long as you do not lose money, do not regret losing profit Better to be safe from regret.

Its normal because we dont know exactly when the price will going to pump but atleast you still gain in the other coin you invest in.

I myself have had similar situations, but it is very difficult to find a promising coin that will definitely bring profit in the long run.

Good old days were when I thought about buying some for $1000-$1200 but didn’t. I doubt those are coming back, unfortunately. No regret!

Why would sell at low price if will result a loss on your money. Why not cost average or buy again on the dip if you have some funds left in your portfolio. Look always for long term and learn about things here in crypto and for sure you will realize how will crypto gonna big in the future.

I had the same experience with the Ethereum. I sold it, and after a while the rate began to increase, but now ETH again is very cheap.

A decision that I think is very detrimental and would certainly make you disappointed. If I am, the better I was resistant because the coins are already too far down. Detained in a long time I thought it nicer considering the potential of the coins has already started to experience growth. And a mistake that will be your experience, hopefully to the next you can benefit.

Im still hodling, but am on an overall big loss in my portfolio. Even compared to my initial investment, and thats certainly not good and its hard not to loose trust. But I know its always the wrong decision to sell with a loss, so I will keep hodling and just hope that I wont have to regret that decision.

I've had similar experience like this in the past and this is what I'm trying to avoid, but we all cannot escape from this scenario, that is why I am not selling all my coins with good potential if I'm selling I just sell a small portion, that way I can still have profit when the pump season begin.

I had very similar situaion with Pundi X . sold dor 500$, shortly after that pump started and my token potential value would have been 5000-6000$. Hurts to look at these kind of mistakes. It is hard to predict these kind of situations.

I think hold could be one of the best for now, as it is now looking at the price of the coin will rise in the next few hours, so for me now is the best time to hold.

Xvg was manipulated. The pump didn't come across organically through its fundamentals or meeting of its roadmaps. To me it is a shitcoin.

If we are speaking about top10 (maybe, even top-20) cryptocurrencies, we really have to hold them. Most of these altcoins and Bitcoin together with them with time will gain only. As for the other alts, here you might better trade.
