Holding is good but we should understand holding the coins only is nt enough we should sell the coins when the market is in growth momentum or else we may face losses in long-term holding strategy

many people into crypto would have their regrets days from hodl too long or selling too fast. You really cant tell when too let go of a coin or when to keep holding. I feel hodl or selling should be more determined by the urgent state of need for fiat. But best to sell when price value is on the rise.... Still a win, i would say

We are here perhaps with the same purpose, finding coins that will grow big in a short time. But I think all things are there process, and learning something from mistakes is the best investment in this business.

Bah nonsense, I don´t need to hodl because I can buy again whenever I want, so I will just wait for the market to reach the bottom. You hodl and have fun doing it. I will be around to catch the good fish.

And yes, you are quite right here. Crypto can't stand people who don't have patience so we should be more patient as well. Hold your coins as long time as you can.

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.

Applies to everyone as well, newbie or expert. People should never sell immediately like bounty participants who sell immediately upon release in exchanges. After receiving bounty rewards, hodl and just sell on better exchanges to make a lot more money.

Be patient until the coin is sold, your money will not be lost, this price reduction happens regularly.

If it seems to me, should you hodl it first only. Be patient course first. All is just a matter of time. Indeed the patience that need to be trained and also the need to continue to be organised. But someday for sure, when you don't give up, there will be the fruit of your patience.

In my opinion it is natural to have it because in trade you need to do it but when you hold it there is a good lesson so it will not happen again, but if you are in bitcoin you should continue to ensure faster income and as long as you do not lose money, do not regret losing profit. Better to be safe than sorry.

Don't be so regret things like that. This is already a regular occurrence in investing. There are still many opportunities, potential, and the opportunities that can be taken to be able to make this into a crypto investment yields. so forget it will not be repeated and will not be returned.

Since I dont have many tokens to hodl I make a decision to hold this long term where bitcoin value will become 20k dollar or more . I really wait for that to happen.

Regretting after you sell your tokens and eventually after you sell the price gets increase is normal in cryptoworld . There are no guarantee in investing sometimes you just need a contentment to the things you get after selling and focus to find more opportunities to buy low and sell high.

It is worth understanding - errors are possible in absolutely any field. We all make mistakes and it is impossible to accurately predict the future. But I prefer to hold tokens for the future

Many people sell their tokens and COINS after ICO, which is the main reason for the sudden drop in prices.
If you like this token, I suggest you keep it for a long time.

It is not like hodl or regret. You might also go for shorts and earn during the bear market. Most important is to pick your own stategy - if you are not a day to day trader than just relax and hodl valuable coins. When the bull market comes, they will grow in value.

thank you for sharing your story. it is same with me like XRB (raiblock) I used to have 2000 XRB diharga 1000-2000 satoshi and that time I also really need capital for trading other coins. and I sell at 2000 satoshi price because I see the development of XRB when it's normal .in a few months it remains that way and but it's been wanted year-end mid november the coin goes up to 70% and the end of the year 170% goes up my wah i'm so crazy i can get more profit if i keep hold. but if it's destiny to do again? I think it's not my livelihood. but I can learn that there is better to hold if the price of the coin is still cheap and the community is still active and growing ascertained next time will surely repeat the old story like XRB so I am true HOLD. if haga is suitable for sale yes I sell it i want to share my experience also with all of you

well , it depends on the coin you are holding and why you decide to hold. if the coin has real life application then its not worth dumping.  I bought some kucoins during ico last year, when they got listed i dumped all at 1$ each , in a few months kucoin went as high as $20/coin. i regretted. and since then i check and research on a project well before deciding to either dump or hold.

Anyone selling in at this time will be kicking themselves in a few months. This is a natural and predicted downturn in the market; from which we will see greater returns than 12/2017 if we hold until crypto winter is over. I can emphasize this point enough.

This happened to me too, I bought HAT and thought that it would moon because of its low supply but its price only lowered since I bought it and it seemed like its in the verge of getting delisted in Kucoin because there isn't much updates from the devs. I sold it for a very low price too and just bought me some ONT. It's disappointing but with crypto you can never tell, just as long as you are making a bit of a profit or maybe at least you are exchanging it for a better altcoin then its ok.
