i think not it is a little bit overestimated to say that Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin because ethereum is still not to be not limited to a certain supply.

There are absolutely 0 chances for ETH to take over BTC. After all these ICO's cooldown the marketcap of Ethereum will drop down dramatically. It's not even the best platform for tokens anymore, the blockchain constantly gets clogged. There are far better platforms for tokens nowadays and people will figure that out soon. Go do some research before talking about things that you have no clue about.

I barley think the this will happen in anytime in the future! The real bitcoin as speak is always going to have more trust as compare to other coins and ETH specially. This trust will always keep building more and more investors and crypto enthusiast in the favour of bitcoin leading to ultimate investment into bitcoin. So you see here, the weightage for the bitcoin will be always higher as compared to the ETH. Im completely in favour with the ETH as good investment but it always comes after the BTC. Its perfect currency for long term investment but I don't think that anyone will ever put it in the first rank and that too after having blessed with BTC in the crypto world.

I think not that eth will be raise btc.
Yes btc is falling but this is all the year the same. After christmas we se btc at 15k$ and the rise will beginn from new.

It will be possible in my opinion as ethereum each the currency that already raised a lot of transaction in the crypto. But the important thing about the bitcoin just like rule in the crypto and every altcoin pegged with it. until ethereum will stand with its own value and it will not happen. |

I don't think so even if ethereum is starting to pump I don't think it can overtake bitcoin in a matter of 1 year. Bitcoin takes time to get into its place in todays market and I believe even if a huge drop in bitcoin price is happening today people will still trust bitcoin and will continue supporting it. I will just wait and see how bitcoin get back into track and release a much higher value in the coming years

Maybe it could come true , but I don't think it could happen in 2018. ETH has its own problem , it also needs to change to be better. |

I know that ethereum has potential to overcome Bitcoins but next year is too soon it would definitely take more time for etheruem to overcome bitcoins.Bitcoins has reached this position after a long time and still Bitcoins are popular and has good demand also people have more trust in bitcoins than has in ethereum.So ethereum has almost zero chances to overcome bitcoins next year.

It's hard to say ETH will overtake Bitcoin, Bitcoin has bee known and used all over the world. ETH will follow as well, but it will not be as good as Bitcoin

ETH will be grab the second place only in the crypto market. Bitcoin which is mined at the early time still hold by the miners who have done that time. They are the people still holding the bitcoin marketplace growth in their hand for long time But ETH is completely shared from the time people shared mining it with the computer or GPU rig. Do don't expect that at all it will never happen in the market. |

Some people keep suggesting this is going to happen by I think its not going to happen by any chance. It is nearly impossible to happen. Ethereum is strong but it is not as recognized as bitcoin.

Clearly, you do kot have the slightest idea what you are talking about. Surely ethereum is great for now. But not good enough to be even compared to bitcoin. In fact, i even think that sooner or later ethereum will really drop in price since it really gets clogged easily now than in the past which is bad for ICOs. So this means that ICOs may look for greater options to build their projects. That's just my speculation though. But still. It cannot be ruled out. |

i dont think so ethereum will take over btc. as we know btc is the number 1 coin in digital currencies and its very popular maybe bch will take over btc because its price is stable. we do have many speculation but we cant predict the value of the coin because it will always depend in useful of the coin. |

Wow what a fearless forecast. Bitcoin goes down hard today. But i think even its down hard today there will be no other crypto that can beat bitcoin. Bitcoin will rise up again and redeem his value back.

Despite I'm one of the biggest fan of Ethereum, I don't really think that Ether can out run Bitcoin anyhow. If bitcoin crashes then all the market crashes so hope that nothing happens to btc. |
