it is not impossible but it is not likely to be happen. people who are trying to learn cryptocurrencies firstly hear bitcoin after that they hear others and because of that most of the people wants buy bitcoin not ethereum. these keeps alive bitcoin.

This is possible. Ethereum is developing well and strongly. Its market capitalization is just behind Bitcoin, its value is also rising, potential in the future is very good. Many big investors have also supported and selected it. ETH is Bitcoin's top rival. But I think it will take a long time. Currently, Bitcoin is still in the forefront of the Cryptocurrency market, its value and potential is still very good and its development is good. Although it is currently volatile, it is still very strong in the future.

I don't think ETH will take Bitcoin overt the next year. Although in the long term it might do that, if ETH can resolve it's own issues like scaling. But one thing is sure Bitcoin won't remain a king of all cryptos for long. It is slow, expensive to transact and not good for micro transactions. All things which you require in a good crypto coin. The maximum supply is of course limited, but that won't help for long, I guess.

I am a big Eth fan but i think this statement is a bit hard to swallow, i mean eth can definitely compete with btc for number 1 place but it can take more time.

I think ethereum is better than bitcoin, but its value gap is too short, so in the short term copper coin is still the most valuable. It is simply the first widely known technical currency. It's like transferring money from copper coin to silver, gold coin and paper money.

ETH needs more time as it so young, I think it can overtake BTC in the next 10 yrs, but likely grow and gain towards BTC.

That's true. No one could takeover Bitcoin even Bitcoincash, because Bitcoin is the one and only the strongest coin in this entire cryptocurrency (shutup for other altcoin's fans).

I think this is one complicated question, because where bitcoin is currently the best, and then there is ethereum that follows it. no one knows, if we can predict it correctly, I'm sure we will get a very good advantage

Totally agreed. There is no single coin that can try to compete with bitcoin's volume and strength. You should think like this, if bitcoin goes zero then all the others go down with it.

That a very interesting point, but, is based on what? On what arguments do you make this statement? Bitcoin is used to exahcnge pretty much evey coin, it's the number 1 coin at the moment, it has over 50% of the market, when you say crypto you basically say Bitcoin, not Ethereum or anything else. So on what basis are you saying what you are saying?

Not gonna happend soon and never will be though, i dont mean to under estimate the power of Ethereum but still btc will be the lead of crypto isnt it.

People advocating that ETH blockchain is amazing, were wrong. The same congestion happened in ethereum blockchain as well and fee turned into real money with expensive rates. At least, ether transfers are still fast while bitcoin transfers are very slow.

That is impossible ethereum is not gonna overtake bitcoin. Bitcoin is still moving forward and much faster in improving unlike ethereum,its moving up but not a fast at bitcoin.

I believe on january fork ethereum will gain at least %50 then everything will start to change.
Faster ethereum and smart ethereum will overtake bitcoin in few years.
