Lately I'm finding several topics, with issues related to some currency overcoming Bitcoin. Ethereum is solid platform and with with optimum qualities, has a very good marketing, even with all qualities Ethereum can not Replace Bitcoin. The market was created on top of Bitcoin, Cryptomoedas only succeed today is thanks to Bitcoin.

No, it will never happen, came on people, ethereum will never be better than bitcoin because of a lot of things that make it unique.
Ethereum is a smart contract provider, bitcoin is not. bitcoin has a fixed supply, ethereum doesn't.
Bitcoin has less supply than eth (21m > 100 m)

I have already met this prediction for the first time, but what are the arguments I can not find? Why will he overtake, what are the prerequisites for this?

In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.

this is just a dream, too many factors if ethereum shifts bitcoin. as found bitcoin remains a top and many users buy btc in market. if ethereum wants to beats bitcoin , ethereum can pressure from BCH price.

i will say that your are little bit optimistic here. ethereum is the second generation of blockchain but the first was bitcoin and it will always remain number one. Ethereum is one of my favourite cryptocurrency but i will say that bitcoin will always remain the first priority of every investor

Your reason for bitcoin always being number one is because it was first?  hmmm What happened to myspace.  Being first doesn't mean much in the world of business and commerce.

I thought at first you were making a joke, but after a multitude and rather serious well thought out responses, now I think you may be high on something. Maybe you have been smoking Ether?  Grin

The perspective of you I feel very right because the current Altcoin is related to copper Ethereum network (ETH). Therefore future in general and copper Altcoin Ethereum will soon surpass Bitcoin to become the highest-value coin market cryptocurrency. So besides investing in Bitcoin, you should consider investing in Ethereum to big profits in 2018.

Not possible bro, it can never overtake bitcoin. It doesn't have that potential to overtake btc, also its entirely different thing than bitcoin.

I am a firm believer in ETH, but I don't think it will overtake Bitcoin anytime soon. I can only see that happening if Bitcoin collapses astronomically.

You have a good hope for ethereum but personally, ethereum wont overtake bitcoin as the number one cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is a stand alone crypto, means it can exist even without other altcoins. Ethereum, you need to trade it in bitcoin to cash it out. So I think Bitcoin will remain its place in the cryto world.

With price or value it is hard to believe ETH can take over.

Look, i belive in ethereum and I am not of those who bashes it but sometimes you gotta live in the real world and not the imaginary one.
Popularity. Bitcoin is still up there and hard to reach.
It will be better to just chew that and live with it.

If ever it will happen it will be a big down to the crypto world.

bitcoin will remain its place and ethereum will do the same. I don't think that any coins could overtake bitcoin because if it happens then I think cryptocurrency will have a revolution and everything will change. people will only save bitcoin and use ethereum to trade, to buy or just to save it. so far, we only use bitcoin to sell all of the altcoins we get and from this, we can make a profit. so if ethereum overtake bitcoin, then ethereum will need many things including to be an adjustment for another coin.

Bitcoin is a gold and ethereum is like a regular cash.
It's too expensive to pay by bitcoin with these huge commissions per transaction. So people will use it as an accumulation instrument.

But ethereum is fast and cheap, so it's a cash, that people will use for online transactions.

In our modern world, gold is more expensive than cash, but cash is more useful.
So, there are just different cases

This sounds ridiculous since ETH is still heavily dependent on Bitcoin and if no Bitcoin is sure all other altcoins will collapse because Bitcoin represents blockchain technology without Bitcoin all cryptocurrency will collapse.

Ethereum can beat Bitcoin in market cap but not in price because there is huge gap between price of ethereum and Bitcoin and it cannot be equalise.
