mtred should work by default. Are you using the latest version?
.....
Any hints on how to adjust/troubleshoot the lag detection? For whatever reason mtred is always marked as lagged out for me check with RedditorRex over at reddit.com/r/mtred - your ip may be blocked.

unitedminers.com admin here,
Thanks for the heads up joulesbeef. All the traffic you sent didn't even really measure as a hiccup so I'm not worried about what you can throw. Web servers are on a separate cluster then the pool server cluster. The website can be slow sometimes because of inefficient sql queries but I'm slowly clearing them up.

beef: I think I identified a potential problem. And I fixed flowers website to properly start api info running. However I think the most likely explanation is you dropped role in a pool description...

They have 25 GH/s (which is already a huge increase compared to the 4(!) GH/s from 2 workers they had before they got added to bithopper). Of course it takes them like forever to find enough shares for a realisitical chance on a block!

What does api_disable mean? My unitedminers just switched to it under role and I'm not sure why =\

It means their api hasn't updated in the last half hour

It means their api hasn't updated in the last half hour Figured out why. Stats page was changed. New api_key: align="right">Shares for current round:</th><td>([,0-9]+)</td></tr></table></td><td

The UnitedMiners stats page was heavily cached and not refreshed often enough for what you all are doing. I reduced the cache time.

I thought we were supposed to be jumping away from slush at 10% of difficulty? Running latest and i stay with them until at least 40%. Or are they used as a kind of backup pool. They are performing better than Arsbitcoin would have.

Do you have a json api url that would be easier on the servers? With maybe a faster refresh?

c00w: you latest update == awesomeness. I had just forked your code to add the ability to enable / disable (including the info option) from the web on the fly, and you implementation is far superior than what I was going to do. You, sir, kick ass. Sending a btc your way

1) Slush. Is it working? It should switch at 10%. There may be a bug...
2) gngadget? Thanks.
3) everyone one else who has sent me donations: Thanks.

Its working, as I have an efficiency of 106% after a couple rounds, but if it was supposed to hop away at (difficulty*.1) shares, then it wasn't doing that.

http://www.unitedminers.com/?action=apiIf you need more info then provided let me know. I just added valid shares to that JSON by request and I can add more if need be.
