It only mines on the backups when there are no other pools which can be hopped. So if it never mines on arsbitcoin its a good thing.

Yeah I mine at ars frequently.

Also adding -q 2 to my guiminer has greatly reduced my stales.

I might want to play with that number more and see if I can get the stales even lower.. right now all my stales except one are under 2%.. which is a lot better than the 5-8% i was seeing.

i know that, but the thing is, when it's supposed to jump to a backup, it never hops to arsbitcoin, even though i disable the other 2 backups, it just jumps to a pool over 43% instead of taking the backup.

I have a small suggestion for the stats page. I think it would be a good idea to make the pool names a click-able link to the pool website that opens in a new window. I don't know about anyone else here but if I want to log in to and check balances on multiple pools at once it gets tedious visiting each address. This way its all in once spot and just a click is needed to go to the pools webpage.

I know there are many versions of bitHopper so if this is already a feature then ignore this Tongue I'm using c00w's version atm.

I get that too (last ver), it refuses to jump on ars as backup

bitHopper seems to be very attached to bitcoinpool.com atm, even though I set it to "role:info" - just as a heads-up!

https://www.coinlend.org <-- automated lending at various exchanges.

There is no real reason to put bitcoinpool.com on info , just remove it or disable it.

Nothing to gain from that pool, their info isnt even allways accurate.

It spams pool names now in the output...

Anyways, is there a special version of pyopenssl to be used? It seems that my version from Arch Linux is not fitting, https APIs are nonresponsive, even though they should be - and I don't want to loose mtred/ozcoin!

Edit:
python2-pyopenssl it is, not pyopenssl (that's the python3 version)

Spamming pool names? Yeah. I need to remove that. I was more concerned about figuring how the new scheduler code was broken then about.

EDIT: Fixed.

pyopenssl? Um a 2.7 version. Arch uses python 3.1 which is slick but my code is written for 2.7. And it probably didn't install 2.7 openssl by default.

http://btcworld.de/api/
If you do not enter an api key for btcworld, you can see the share count from every user.  Can we use this to add up all shares and pull from json?

Are those errors from trunk?

EDIT: Oh I see you were using gnagets branch. Yeah he doublecalled the getworks. So most of those rejects are actually not rejects. But its still wrong. I left some comments on github.

EDIT2: And I merged and fixed. Tell me if the current trunk version doesn't work.

EDIT3: It doesn't work. I'm looking into it. current version has it disabled.
