SecureCoin is on the rise on Cryptsy.  Hopefully it can hit .001/BTC in exchange in the coming days.
I'd like to see more support given to DGCMarket though, and rebranding it as well as allowing more Baritus coins to be in use there.   Grin

On the "Which coin would you like to see on PhenixEx?" POLL, these are the standings for now:

1). Infinitecoin [38 votes]
2). EcoCoin [31 votes]
3). SecureCoin [23 votes]
4). ColossusCoin [22 votes]
5). Extremecoin [20 votes]
    CryptoBuck [20 votes]

It's a close race between number 3, 4 and 5.

Did you vote for your favorite coin(s) already?

I'm keeping my CPU on it, normally my CPU would do squat, now it's slowly but steadily earning me some coins Smiley

Src already payed part of my rent, so yeah, I'm gonna keep mining it.
Primecoin should be good once the gpu miner gains traction but a true CPU coin like this is a nice thing to have... specially if it's featured at cryptoave (if that takes off )

I  downloaded this folder. In the folder are the following files:

libcurl-4.dll
minerd64_avx.exe
minerd64_sse2.exe
minerd64_sse3.exe
minerd64_sse4.exe
pthreadGC2-w64.dll

minerd64_avx.exe - does not start, minerd64_avx.exe...minerd64_sse4.exe - write the following text:

Quote
[2013-09-05 20:56:47] HTTP request failed: Failed connect to 127.0.0.1:9332; No error
[2013-09-05 20:56:47] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds

it repeats every 30 seconds.

You should come to the IRC chatroom where we will gladly help you get up and running.

You are running a 64 bit OS, right? If so, which one?

json_rpc_call failed usually means the SRC client isn't running, your config file isn't correct, or the port isn't forwarded.

thanks for the response, but i got it sussed just now thanks...

ive never used bat files before and was trying to launch the miner rather the bat file i think

i also had the bat file wrong

i was trying to start minerd rather than minerd64_sse4

all 8 cores are now happily hashing

thanks again for your speedy reply

shouldnt try to learn new skills when im tired

unfortunately looks like i cant support this coin after all, my gpus mining ltc slowed drastically due to securecoin, shame to waste cpu, but what can you do

I would like to know how to setup an effective .conf and .bat file for mining SRC. I have Windows 7 x64 and want to set it up properly. I see the SRC wallet, but there are different miners to choose from. Most likely to join a pool anyway.

What cpu?

I use the avx optimized miner.

Here's my bat file contents:

minerd64_avx.exe -q -s 2 -a quark -t 7 -o stratum+tcp://src.coinmine.pl:6020 -u pipocipolatti.1 -p x

-t is the number of cpu threads I use to mine, leaving one free for cgminer.
